Arte Rhodes (ex. Agla)

We experienced extremely unfair and unprofessional treatment after checking out of the hotel. We were accused of causing damage to a glass panel on the room’s veranda and were forced to pay up to €200. Despite presenting evidence and clearly explaining that we were not responsible, the staff refused to listen. Due to time pressure and the urgency of catching our flight, we had no choice but to pay for something we did not do. What’s even more concerning is that, according to a rude comment made by one of the housekeeping staff, this issue was known to the hotel several days before our departure. It is clear that the hotel staff deliberately waited until the last moment—just before our departure—to confront us, leaving us no opportunity to properly dispute the charge. This was not only dishonest, but felt like an intentional scam. We will not let this incident be forgotten and intend to pursue it further. We won’t let this go without consequences for how we were treated. Here is the screenshots of the video recorded on July 2nd at 14:56, when we cheked inn. If you look closely, you can clearly see that the crack in the glass was already present at that time. Unfortunately, the video is in low quality because it was originally intended to show the hotel room to friends, not to serve as documentation or evidence.

In general it was a great experience the girls at reception and vive from buffet breakfast they were fantastic, very efficient and professional always with a smile which is good in customer service only that help us . Thank you so much, Magaret and Angela at front desk always happy and with a smile 10/10

I have stayed twice at this hotel, half board each time for 1 week. June 2024 & May 2025. I found last year was too hot, so I came back a month earlier, much better temperature. I was made very welcome last year, & everyone of the staff was very happy to help and make you feel welcome. This year on my return they all remembered me & greated me more as a friend. The hospitality & food as last year were great. Rooms cleaned every day & beds changed every other day. The sea is a 3-minute walk & the Old Town (which you must visit) is 10/ 15 min walk or taxi from the hotel 8.50euros. I hope to return again & will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you 'all' for making my stay & holiday another great time, be seeing you!

I was on a business trip and I can highly recommend the hotel for city hotel lovers. In ten minutes, the city of Rhodes and the castle are at your feet. Within breathing distance are taverns, restaurants and everything one could wish for in a city. At a distance of 300 meters is the organized beach that I did not use. The staff is polite and available to serve at any time. Security is a given in Greece but also in the hotel. The breakfast covers all needs. The room lacks nothing of what one needs and who chooses this category. Absolute recommendation

Wij verbleven 10 dagen in Arte hotel. Van eind juni t/m begin juli. Het hotel is schoon en word iedere dag goed schoongemaakt. Schoonmakers zijn ook erg vriendelijk. Wij hadden een Deluxe poolkamer, deze kamers zijn gerenoveerd dus erg mooi, maar wel klein en heel gehorig! Soms wel wat last gehad van jongeren die snachts van de barstreet af kwamen. Het hotel word op sommigen plekken nog gerenoveerd en dit zie en hoor je. Mocht je twijfelen, zou ik wel voor een deluxe room kiezen, de andere kamers waren aan renovatie toe. Wij zaten eerst op verdieping 5, maar dit vonden wij niet relaxed ivm de afscherming van je balkon die van glas is. Uitzicht is zoals in eerdere reviews vernoemd niet echt fantastisch. Bij de receptie gemeld en de volgende dag waren wij naar de 2e verdieping verplaatst. Dif voelde veel fijner.🙏 Op sommige kamers heb je uitzicht op zee, maar er staat nog een supermarkt/gebouw voor het hotel, voordat je het uitzicht op de zee kan zien. Zwembad is erg klein, weinig ligbedjes, heel warm ivm geen wind en maar tot 18:00 uur open. Wij zijn veel naar het strand geweest, dus weinig gebruik hiervan gemaakt. 🏝️ Het strand is 2 minuten lopen, dus dat is heel fijn. Wel een kiezelstrand, dus waterschoenen is een must. 👏 Sommig personeel is wat terughoudend en wat onpersoonlijk. Dit vonden wij wel jammer. Maar voor de tijd van het jaar was het al best druk in het hotel. Wij verbleven met logies en ontbijt. Ontbijt heeft weinig variatie maar in buffetvorm, dus voor ieder wat wils. Verder hebben wij zelf veel dingen ondernomen en zijn er heel veel lekkere restaurants in de buurt. Mijn tip: Ga buiten Rhodos old town eten (meer in de buurt van het hotel en omgeving) dit is minder toeristisch, beter betaalbaar zonder oplichting en wat persoonlijker!😃 Wij hebben genoten van onze vakantie op Rhodos!🇬🇷💙
