Lindos Grand Resort & Spa

What can I say. An amazing stay and the most wonderful service from the staff at the resort. Luxury and stillness and a place to pause. I’ll definitely be returning.

We arrived on 30th of May and stayed for 7 nights. We were met with a welcome drink which was a lovely touch and our bags were brought to our stunning room. We booked a sea view room with private pool and it was an excellent choice. Every morning we would have a lovely breakfast at the buffet with a huge choice and personalised coffee. We’d then return to our pool, swim sunbathe and relax until lunch. Then head to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. I’m not a beach person so the stony beach was ideal for me. The sun loungers and so comfortable there and the sea is beautiful. We ate dinner at one of the restaurants on site and at the buffet and both were lovely. We had lunch twice, once by the pool and once in the restaurant and again both were lovely and service was excellent. A big shout out to Norma who is such a lovely, friendly, bubbly lady and always took our orders with a smile and a chat. So so lovely. All the staff were so nice. The views from the hotel are so lovely and it’s a very relaxing location. We didn’t sit around the pool for two reasons, one being we had our own pool and the other being the other guests reserving sunbeds. The latter puts me off. But not the hotels fault. You can get the bus to Lindos for €2 or a taxi will cost about €12 to €15. We had a car for day time trips which was very handy and there is free parking at the hotel. All in all I would highly recommend a stay at Lindos Grand Resort Hotel!

We have just had a fab 10 day stay and we absolutely loved it. Our room had a view of the sea and contained everything you could ask for. It was perfectly cleaned everyday and turned down in the evening. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and it catered for all dietary requirements. The pool...... wow!! A 57 meter wide infinity pool with a fabulous view of the bay. Plenty of very comfortable beds both by the pool and in other areas. Service by the pool was easy through the dedicated hotel app and the food and drinks were very good. The hotel has a number of restaurants, again with a fab view. We ate at the Asian and Italian and both were excellent. Now for the staff: from the moment we arrived we felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The reception team are brilliant. Helpful, friendly and warm. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. Taxi bookings, restaurant bookings, general info; it was all delivered with a smile. It is one of the most relaxed hotels I have stayed in and we will be returning next year!!

We returned to Lindos Grand Resort & SPA after a wonderful stay last year, expecting the same high standards. Unfortunately, this year’s experience was a huge disappointment and far from what should be expected from a 5-star resort. From the moment we arrived, basic amenities were missing from our room, including complimentary water, coffee capsules, and even teaspoons. Repeated requests were ignored, and the hotel’s app was completely ineffective, with messages left unanswered for days. Housekeeping standards were poor, with towels left outside our room for more than a day after an accident involving a minibar bottle. The pool area was badly managed, with sunbeds “reserved” by unattended towels for hours, while management appeared unwilling to intervene. The most frustrating incident occurred when we ordered two Aperol Spritz at the pool bar and waited over an hour without ever receiving them. No explanation and no meaningful apology were offered. To make matters worse, construction and maintenance work was taking place throughout the resort, causing noise and disturbance from early morning. Guests were never informed in advance. The only positive aspect of our stay was the beach. Everything else reflected a serious decline in quality, service, and attention to detail compared to last year. Sadly, the resort we once enjoyed and recommended no longer seems to exist. Based on our experience, Lindos Royal Resort currently falls far short of the standards expected from a true 5-star property, and we can no longer recommend it. Arch.
