Orion Hotel Faliraki

Pool area is nice and well maintained food at bar is good aswell. Lots of bad points. rooms are very tired and dated,If you manage to get hot water we only had 3 days out of two weeks that it was actually warm enough to be comfortable, Complained numerous times as my wife is disabled you'd just get the eye roll of whoever was on reception. The restaurant food was lacking in choice and size and you are watched like hawks by the staff. only used it twice was hoping first time was a one off?sadly it wasn't! We go to faliraki every year so we know what to expect, Will never go to this hotel again though not fit to put my dog there.

Close to bars & restaurants , pool & food was lovely however the room was terrible. We were put in the annex in block 3, very dated, stained seatees with snails and bugs on them at the entrance. Stained bed clothes & Bathroom very dirty no drainage. Totally disappointed in the rooms and the block 3 upkeep. Wouldn't recommend this or check with hotel and ask not to be put there for your stay

I have absolutely no faults for this hotel AT ALL. Every day we had our room cleaned, clean towels, fresh bedding and mopped floors. The breakfast- Stunning - If something has ran out the staff are quick to replace it, the waffles - are really good if you like a sweet treat in the morning. We only had bed and breakfast so im unable to comment on the dinner. ALL of the staff are so lovely and kind, from waiters, to reception and the workers at the bar they are all so welcoming and kind. Our room - was brilliant, a fridge, kettle and balcony, the view wasn't scenic just the parking lot and some mountains but it really wasn't an issue we are not here for the views from our balcony 🤣 If views concern you though- upgrade to pool view, at night time the pool lights up beautifully. There are cats - everywhere! I love it! They're welcomed in and around the hotel which is great and theyre all friendly. The location itself in my opinion is perfect, not even a 5 minute walk to the "strip" and there's shops only a minute away. I cannot fault this hotel at all. I highly recommend it to any one wanting to visit faliraki

2nd visit this year to the Orion. Again we upgraded our room to a superior type but sadly not as good as our June visit. Our room this time was right in the corner of the block overlooking the pool. Room 222 was really small generally. Balcony overlooked about 3 other people's and had no sun at anytime of the day. Bathroom was really small and had toilet, sink and shower. We had no hot water from the Tuesday to the Friday morning, despite telling reception. Finally Friday night it was fixed. Food in the hotel and pool bar was brilliant as were the staff. Pool absolutely freezing, didn't go in once. We are out at various Restaurants but the best were Opera and Linguine. The Chinese was awful IMO, don't bother with it. Jet2 holiday staff were fabulous from Bournemouth to Rhoees and back. We would return but would definitely need a better room.

Room was clean and good value for money, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food/drinks at the pool bar and for the breakfast buffet were lovely.
