Rhodos Horizon Marina

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. Really clean and comfortable room, brilliant staff (we found fizz, balloons and a towel creation on the bed after a trip out on my husband's birthday!). If we had one criticism it would be that the bathroom was very small, but having said that it was kept beautifully clean and we did have all we needed. The food was plentiful, with lots of choice and we never felt rushed in the restaurant at all. The dining room staff worked very hard at keeping tables cleaned and making sure you had enough drinks etc. We aren't pool people ourselves, but clearly a lot of other people were, but we didn't see towels hogging the sun loungers round the pool - very civilised. It's about a 5 minute walk to the marina, where there are several bars which we would go to after dinner. It took us about 30 minutes to walk into the town, but we aren't the fastest of walkers. I would like to say that Sofia on reception was very helpful when I needed to book a restaurant and taxi and Manolis in the restaurant was an absolute star. Would we go back? Yes! Would we recommend others go? Absolutely!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this lovely hotel. Would return in a heartbeat. Staff are friendly and will do anything to help. Rooms are spotlessly clean and are serviced daily. Facilities atr excellent with tea/coffee making equipment and free safe and mini bar which is replenished daily. Food is of good standing with plenty of choice and drinks brought to table by staff at meal times. Location was good for us but it was a 25min walk into Rhodes old Town so could maybe be a problem for some but taxis are available on request and cost around 12 euros. Lovely pool area with plenty of beds and pool towels are free. The sun moves around the pool all day so beds get the sun some but not all of the time. The only downside is the room doors have to be slammed to close from the outside so this can be quite noisy in the mornings around breakfast time. Some of the mixers for all Inc drinks aren't good but plenty of different drinks on offer.

Currently staying at the hotel we have room on the ground floor overlooking the pool A warm welcome when we arrived at 1am Nice room good quality beds linen and towels Mini bar hairdryer safe Bathroom is a little compact but has a good shower Room serviced every day Food is buffet style for breakfast lunch and dinner A vast selection of quality food at all meals All staff are very smart and friendly always willing to help with nothing being too much trouble The hotel is spotless and well maintained . The pool area is very nice with sun-beds but not sure in high season there are enough beds for all guests There has been some evening entertainment but very quiet during the day A nice bar area with a good selection of drinks There is a public beach two minutes walk from the hotel with nice sand and safe swimming However no sun-beds on beach in early June. The hotel is in a older area of Rhodes a little run down but being regenerated The new marina is about 4 minutes walk with a few up market bars There are several little local restaurants near the hotel which always seem busy It is around 30 minutes easy walking into Rhodes old town The hotel has a good mix of European guest. We are enjoying our stay at the Rhodos Horizon Marina Small observations Could do with more bar staff at night The bar lounge area at night is really bright Option to keep towels in room to save the environment To all guests the staff are hear to serve you not be your slave Some guest have no manners are rude Well done to all at the Rhodos Horizon Marina

Just stayed a week at this hotel, food was excellent. Good Gym and Sauna. Reception staff extremely friendly, professional, helpful. Must mention Sofia and Yanna on the reception desk and Anastasia in the restaurant. Rooms fine, cleaners doing a first class job.
