Aqua Deluxe

AVOID - definitely not a 5* - we were shown to our room to sleep 5 - no problem it did, however the storage space is nowhere near enough for a family of 5, 2 of us had to live out our suitcases! NOISE - all night and from 4am all we could hear was traffic from the main road, beeping cars, Loud music , screeching cars and Lorrie’s, the door is not soundproof at all. Some sort of singing in an evening, right by the pool very loud goes on to around 11:30, again the doors also to the balcony are not soundproof. ROOM - the fridge provided fitted 2 bottles in if we were lucky, the card reader kept falling off the wall, previous repair was to wedge card in the hole to jam it! Despite wires being on show no proper repair was carried out and kept falling off the wall despite reporting it 3 times! STENCH - for what ever reason the resort stank, like sewerage, we would open the doors to the balcony to be met with an awful smell and I mean awful! It was round by the pool too maybe a drainage issue. FOOD - not to bad as you would expect from an AI does get repetitive we decided to eat out 3 nights to avoid feeding time at the zoo, un attended kids touching stuff, picking it up putting it back, sneezing like they are allergic to the restaurant with no mouth coverage just gross, breakfast was great everyday so much choice can’t fault that. ENTERTAINMENT - non existent, a singer by the pool 2 nights a week, not much seating, they advertise for you to go to the waterpark - I mean you can but honestly you will have a better night in your room with a word search & a coffee! Strongly advise to take yourself to the strip to a bar for anything worthy just means buying your drinks but worth it for a great holiday. The arcade area at the water park is extremely old and outdated, half the machines and pool tables don’t work and not much there at all, again advise going up the town to crazy golf. APP - the hotel advise you to use an app for entertainment times etc however nothing showed up for anything the app just doesn’t work so utterly useless. POOL - it looked filthy did not use - see pictures attached Don’t waste your money here

Definitely not a 5 star hotel !

Great location a short walk to the strip with restaurants, shops and bars which was semi busy with mainly families. Nice walks in the area and 5 mins from the beach. Hotel had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, plenty of pools and things for the kids. The waterpark was great. The rooms were clean, modern & spacious with nice balconies. The restaurants had a good selection of choice although a little repetitive. Fantastic value holiday. I paid £1100 for 1 week for myself and my son.

This is a nice hotel but it’s not a 5* as advertised…. It’s quite some way off. Service - The staff provide reluctant service. No offer of drinks on sun loungers, at the tables at the buffet etc. I felt like quite an inconvenience at times asking for simple things - which is a crazy considering how much we had paid for this holiday. Rooms - The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping are amazing at keeping them spotless. They work really hard. The shower is great, the beds are comfy. However, road noise is a massive issue. It’s just not relaxing and it goes on all night. Thankfully, we had brought ear plugs but I could still hear honking of horns through the night. The private pools are also not worth the money unless you like to sit in the shade all day. Wish we hadn’t bothered with this. Food - we gave the buffet a go 3 times and thought it was not great. Ended up eating out a lot. The à la carte is in the water park. The food is very average, there’s no atmosphere and service was rushed in the à la carte. Creperie/ pancake bar was brilliant for the kids. Waterpark is excellent - our kids absolutely loved it. I think if I had paid for and booked a 4* I would have been accepting of these things in the hotel. I wouldn’t go again. Saying that, we’ve had a lovely holiday because we got out and about (if you want proper service and decent food and drinks head down to the Makai beach bar. We spent a lot of time there!) The island is beautiful, Tsilvi is amazing - especially for kids. I would come back and stay at a proper 5*.

Fantastic stay at Aqua delux, my wife, grand daughter and my self had a great time and wonderful holiday. All the staff friendly and always had time to chat. Food in the aqua restaurant had a good choice and well laid out with staff being very attentive. Room spotlessly cleaned every day. Entertainment team gave very good shows in the evening and always willing to chat during the day when walking around the pools. I could name all the staff a well done but it would take to long but would like to thank Heni ( Honey ) but I still did not get my shirt. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday regard john.
