Aqua Deluxe

Just arrived back after a week at the beautiful Aqua Delux Hotel. It’s for sure 5*****. Every thing was perfect, staff are amazing and so friendly, the rooms were perfect and cleaned everyday. The restaurant was so clean,there was always a cleaner going round picking any food up, even if a drip Of juice was around the food servers she would be there wiping it up. Buffet had a good variety of food and was always something lovely to eat. Even with fussy kids. The Water park was fab, more than enough for the kids. Lots of pools and snack bars dotted around. Had the most amazing time! Thank you for making it so special. I don’t even want to be putting this bit in the review but For feedback purposes only. The only thing that let it down was the amount of wasps there. It was hard to relax and although that’s nature the hotel really needed to have some wasp traps around and to get on top of the amount of wasps nests there was. But besides that it was perfect. Would definitely return to the hotel for sure.

Fantastic Stay at Aqua Deluxe Tsilivi! We had a wonderful stay at Aqua Deluxe Tsilivi and couldn't be happier with our experience. The accommodation was excellent, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The atmosphere was lovely, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Everything was well organised, and we really appreciated the attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable. Tsilivi is a fantastic place for a holiday, and Aqua Deluxe was a great base for enjoying everything the area has to offer. We left with wonderful memories and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Zakynthos. Thank you for helping make our holiday so special! We would definitely consider returning in the future.

The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the staff are very friendly and hard working. There’s not a huge amount to see in the resort around the hotel and the closest beach is quite small so maybe consider this if going to the beach and sightseeing is important to you. Overall we had an absolutely wonderful family holiday. If it’s a good price book it! Tips/information: Arrival- you’ll be asked to download the hotel app to check in so I would recommend doing this before your holiday. It’s called the Xenos hotels app. It took 2 minutes to input the details we needed to check in and I’m sure the receptionist would have helped if we had any issues. Tax is €15 per room per night and is payable on arrival either by card or cash. Food- lots of variety and good quality! Something for everyone. We went end of September and there were loads of tables in the restaurants as well as in the bars. We never had to wait (I believe this is different when it’s peak summer). We really enjoyed the 2 à la carte restaurants- you make a reservation for these through the hotel app and I’d recommend booking early as they do get booked up (we booked the night we arrived and there was only night in each restaurant that still had a table at 7.30pm available). Drinks- excellent selection with all inclusive. Iced coffees and proper handmade cocktails were included (frozen daiquiri, mojito, espresso martini etc…). The beers are served in half pints. They provide reusable water bottles and have chilled water stations to fill them up. They also have sparkling water at the water stations which is a nice touch. Pool/Waterpark- the waterpark is brilliant for kids. The main pool at aqua deluxe has a quieter vibe and feels more luxurious with the padded sun beds. There were loads of sun beds available everywhere we went. The water is a bit cold for September temperatures I felt but it was fine if you kept moving! They provide towels. Toiletries - conditioning shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion is provided. If you normally use conditioner bring your own. Pushchair/wheelchair access- we used a pushchair and there are lots ramps everywhere in the hotel/splashpark. The only place I didn’t notice wheelchair access was the Elia à la carte restaurant. For the splash park if you head towards the back there is a bridge with a ramp (the splash park is in the middle of the lazy river and we didn’t spot the ramp at first as at the front there are only steps). The pavements in Tsilivi aren’t the best (in places they are uneven and have large steps) so I wouldn’t recommend them for someone that needs a wheelchair. With 2 adults we were able to navigate the pavements with our toddler in a pushchair ok but needed the 2nd person to help the pushchair down steep steps etc. Entertainment/Mini disco - there is loads to keep kids entertained. The mini disco is at 8.30pm and lasts for 30 minutes- as adults we did find the mini disco a bit repetitive as they play the same songs in the same order every night but the kids had an amazing time (when we were late arriving we joked that we would probably arrive for baby shark and we were right! 😂). The main entertainment ‘shows’ are at the water park but they have musicians by the aqua deluxe pool too and it has a more chilled and luxury atmosphere there. Zante town- it’s worth having a trip over as it’s only a 15minute drive away. The walk along the pier to the lighthouse is very picturesque and strolling around the shops was enjoyable. We got a taxi (requested at reception and they fulfilled our request for a toddler car seat too)- it cost €16 there and €20 back. You can also book a trip with tui, get the bus, or there’s a fun train. Beach- the nearest beach is about a 5 minute walk away but it is quite small. Tsilivi beach is much bigger but it is about a 25 minute walk. Departure day- there is luggage storage and a courtesy room where you can have a shower. There’s also an option to keep your room until 6pm for €60.

We traveled as a family with a 5-year-old and a baby, and Aqua Deluxe truly delivered. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, and modern. The all-inclusive package was great, offering a wide selection of food that suited both adults and a picky 5-year-old. Having unlimited access to the child-friendly water park was a massive bonus and kept our 5-year-old entertained for hours every single day! However, what truly elevated our stay from "good" to absolutely fantastic was the exceptional service. We would especially like to highlight the wonderful staff at the Aqua Restaurant. They were absolutely magical with the children! A very special thank you goes to Ala and Yiannis. With their big smiles and lovely songs, they managed to make baby Henrik smile and laugh every single day. Feeling this welcome with small children means everything when traveling, and they made our meal times a true highlight. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to any family traveling with children!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday staying at the Aqua deluxe recently. We were travelling with our son who uses a wheelchair and found the resort to be very wheelchair friendly, Space around the aqua deluxe pool is a little cramped and mostly reserved at so we based ourselves on the water park most days. Our son is gluten intolerant and we never struggled to have food every day that was safe for him ..the gluten free pizza was a hit. All the food we had during the whole week was of an excellent standard..we ate at the 2 al a carte restaurants too which were extremely good..especially the steak restaurant above the snack bar, Our room was kept so clean and towels were plentiful. We had only booked a standard room which was positioned roadside above a cocktail bar so I will admit I was slightly disappointed at first by this location and the size of balcony but can honestly say that we were never bothered by any external noises… in fact the karaoke was quite fun to listen to on our balcony! And if you looked down to the left you got a glimpse of the sea! We used the spa and it was a lovely luxurious treat. My husband had a massage and I tried the ice ritual facial, both treatments were carried out to a high standard. All the staff were welcoming. Our only gripe was that we struggled to find reception when our transfer dropped us off..maybe a little sign would be helpful. We are already planning to return next year and really enjoyed the whole area surrounding the hotel too.
