Aqua Deluxe

Fantastic big family holiday. 6 adults and 5 children! Staff were very friendly on arrival, family rooms were big with good size balcony. Swimming pool very clean, tidy and maintained. (My only negative feedback to the hotel would be that the base of the pool is a little bit rough and after a full week of walking in the pool it did make my feet a little sore. The base of the pools in the water park are much smoother). Restaurants was fantastic fresh food! Plenty of choice in the children area. As a big group we understood some hotels would struggle to accommodate a table of 11 everyday. We compromised with the hotel and they accommodated us with a big table every evening. I would like to thank Hani in public relations for making this possible. Hani also done a brilliant job at organising birthday cake for both my mums 60th and dads 63rd I would highly recommend this hotel and ignore any negative reviews.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I arrived feeling a little sceptical. However, all I can say is... wow! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were experiencing genuine luxury. We arrived quite late in the evening, and the staff immediately asked if we'd eaten before preparing meals for us to take back to our room. We were then chauffeured to our accommodation, which was a lovely touch after a day of travelling. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfect for our family of three. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was a fridge with bottled water waiting for us, along with complimentary reusable water bottles that could be topped up at the water stations located around the hotel. Housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout our stay, and the cleanliness across the entire hotel was absolutely immaculate. Although our room was one of the furthest from reception and the main pool, it still only took around two minutes to walk there, so the layout of the hotel is excellent. There was never a shortage of sunbeds, and the premium loungers around the main pool were more like comfortable mattresses. There were multiple pools to choose from, whether you wanted a quieter atmosphere or somewhere better suited to families. One of the biggest bonuses was the complimentary access to the neighbouring water park, which normally costs €22 per adult. Even better, your all-inclusive package continues there too, so you can enjoy food and drinks at the snack bar without paying extra. It was fantastic value and gave us another full day of fun. The food exceeded our expectations. Rather than trying to cater for every cuisine imaginable, the hotel embraced traditional Greek food, which was fresh, varied, and delicious. There was something for everyone, including plenty of choice for children, a great salad bar, and an excellent dessert selection. Breakfast was another highlight. Alongside the self-service coffee machines, you could order freshly made barista coffees. Starting every morning with a proper flat white while my wife enjoyed her decaf Americano was a brilliant touch that really elevated the experience. As someone who trains regularly, I was pleasantly surprised by the gym. There aren't many photos online, so I had planned to use another gym about 20 minutes away. In the end, there was no need. The hotel gym had dumbbells from 2kg to 20kg, kettlebells, a cable machine, two treadmills, an exercise bike, a cross trainer, mats, and complimentary towels. It could get a little busy at peak times, but that's to be expected for a hotel gym, and it had everything I needed. The evening entertainment for both children and adults was enjoyable, although that's never the main reason we go on holiday. The location is also excellent, with shops just a short walk away and Tsilivi town only around 20 minutes on foot. After most holidays, I usually say I wouldn't return simply because I like experiencing new places. This is the first hotel where I can honestly say I would return without hesitation. I'm writing this on our final evening before flying home tomorrow, and I'm genuinely gutted to be leaving. Every single member of staff has been warm, welcoming, and incredibly hardworking. They are an absolute credit to the hotel and, more than anything else, they made this holiday so special. Thank you to everyone at Aqua Deluxe for giving us such an unforgettable stay. Went for a week with a 4 and a 6 year old. Everything was spot on especially the lovely staff who gave my daughter balloons and a cake for her birthday which was a lovely surprise. Kids really enjoyed the waterpark and the kids club. Food was cracking too

We spent a 4 night stay at the Aqua Deluxe from July 5th and we were a little concerned before we went due to a few mixed reviews. Well I have to say we hadn't stayed 5* before (usually 4*) and this establishment was definitely a step up in class, service and environment. Once in reception it was evident how well presented the staff were, beautiful uniforms and very well groomed. We found all the staff very attentive from reception, bar, restaurant to not least the amazing hygiene team who often checked more than once a day that we had fresh towels after already cleaning through the room. We were blown away by the choice for daytime snacks compared to previous complex's with a menu for burgers (all served in brioche buns), different pasta dishes, pizza menu and a salad menu. We never used the restaurant for lunch however we felt the range and presentation of dishes for breakfast and evening meal was fantastic especially the freshly made Pizza's. We found there were an abundance of staff all willing to help with requests. Self service Ice cream throughout the day was nice and the bars served Hellas pils lager, and not the dreadful 'Zorba' beer. The cocktails were also better than previous complex's we had stayed at. The room was stylishly refurbished, very comfortable with great air-con and a decent bed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and the complimentary branded water bottles were a nice touch. Contrary to some previous reviews, we watched staff clean and aqua-vacuum the main Deluxe pool every morning as we overlooked it. (This pool does get busy and you do get the usual sunbed towel brigade from 6 am...but where doesn't these days). The water park was so much fun and not just for kids as I am 57 and went on all the big slides multiple times. We didn't feel the need to eat or drink out so there was no extra cost to us other than 'goodbye & thank you' tips to all areas of the complex to show our gratitude. If I was to offer a little constructive criticism, it would be to offer a member of staff to help guide new arrivals from the drop off point to reception, or at lease to add some clear signage as you are dropped off outside the water park. Also be prepared and have the Xenos App downloaded on your phone ready as this is how you check in. There were plenty of staff to help you with this in reception though. Lacking on food, not bad location, found that at meals we got guided to are table to then have no one take are drinks order or even give us water. Staff were okay very nonchalant. Checking in was a bit awkward had to download an app which made it a long check in process. Also found that on the 1 restaurant they have the opening times are very scarce, it says on the website they have 3 restaurants but they are situated in the middle of a kids water park. Overall not the most impressive hotel but it is very nice as it’s been refurbished which makes it all look lovely has great potential but needs serious improvement to drinks, food.
