Aqua Deluxe

Just returned from a weeks holiday here with my two sons, I was also apprehensive given some of the negative reviews but had no reason to be, we had a great time! The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, rooms were immaculate with fresh towels every day and lovely air con. We stayed in room 416 and I didnt get much sleep thanks to a local dog that resides outside of a house at the back of the hotel and barks (extremely loudly) all night long. Not the hotels fault but be warned if you're on this side of the hotel, sadly not come back well rested. I attempted to move rooms but speaking to others on the other side of the hotel they could also hear it so we didnt bother. The staff were great, not always overly friendly but work so hard, same staff working from morning to late into the night in different areas of the hotel so it must be a long day! The pool at the deluxe was great, my only gripe is that you have to get up around 6am and put towels down to stand any chance of the nice beds poolside, there are signs everywhere saying any towels placed before 9:30 will be removed by housekeeping but this simply doesnt happen and they were all gone by that time, not very fair especially when those reserved beds remain vacant most of the day. I raised this with reception and they said they'd sort it but nothing happened. The water park was great, and no trouble getting sunbeds later in the morning there so thats where we tended to camp out most days! The fact it was also covered under AI was a bonus. Food was great, breakfast was repetitive but it usually is, and remainder of the meals were great with loads of choice, great selection of AI drinks and cocktails too. Location is brilliant, ten min walk from the beach and main town for all the shops and bars. Overall we would return and had a great time at the Aqua Deluxe.

My experience, I wasn’t to sure about this place due to the reviews, I went in with low expectations, Room, We had a private pool room, number 328, room was slightly smaller than what we expected but was big enough for 2 adults and one child, large bed was comfortable but the small bed was really hard and uncomfortable, the ac was nice and cold. Room was cleaned to a high standard every day and sheets and towels were changed daily, the room we were in got the sun in the pool area from 11 ish till the sun went down, the pool water was warm, shower was good, one bottle of water was in the fridge on arrival this was not replaced, Outside the room loud music was playing as the entertainment was outside, it went on till late, not loud dance music but singers so wasn’t to bad we all still managed to sleep, the door on the bathroom is glass so if someone goes to the toilet in the night and turns on the bathroom light the whole room lights up, so that disturbed sleep slightly, I would have been better if like other 5 Star hotels we have stayed in they put cans in the fridge that get replaced as a number of times we were thirsty in the night, Entertainment This was good some singers better than others but over all it was acceptable, Water park It’s free entry and all inclusive follows you into the park. This was a good water park for my 5 year old he enjoyed it, snack bar in the hotel was ok, we got chips and cheese and onion toasty, your basic drinks are also included so that’s good, Food and drinks Breakfast was the same every day. I normally look forward to a full English breakfast on holiday but for my taste it was poor, so I was having cold meats and salmon, lunch was ok not a large selection compared to other hotels but the quality was quite good, dinner more of a selection and some dishes were different most nights with the usual pizza ect ect, it all tasted ok. Deserts were good. Normally on all inclusive deserts look different and all taste the same, but these were good, Theme night, We went once and the food was pretty much like what is in the main restaurant but less of it. And lots of bees on all the food, this put us off so we left and just went into the main restaurant, À la carte restaurants were actually very good, so I would recommend getting your free meal in these, Drinks are fine no real complaints, Staff Staff were always happy to help as much as they could. No complaints about the staff. Main pools and areas around the hotel, Everything was clean and tidy, Location Everything is within walking distance, to main town or the beach, Summary, Hotel was better than expected few things could be improved, is this a 5 star hotel compared with places like Mexico, turkey ect ect no, is this a 5 star hotel by Zante Greece standards probably close, don’t go here expecting high luxury but it is actually from my experience a good hotel.

We've just returned from a lovely week staying at the Deluxe, and would've happily stayed longer. We really can't fault this place at all ❤️ we found it immaculately clean, the food was great, the staff were incredibly helpful and we met some amazing people! Don't listen to the negative reviews, we loved it ❤️☀️

We travelled to the Aqua Deluxe for 2 weeks from 2nd July to 16th July as a family of 3 (little one is 4). Hotel Gorgeous!! You can tell that this hotel is all about the aesthetics! The hotel itself was so clean, there was never a time when i didn't see a cleaner out and about either in the rooms, the corridors, the lobby etc. The hotel is so well looked after i just couldn't fault it. The rooms were spotless, cleaners came round everyday and changed the bed every couple of days. Fresh towels everyday and the cleaner would also come around to the room about 6pm every evening to see if we needed any more towels. The hotel shares its facilities with the aqua bay suites which is also gorgeous! We loved the Pool at the aqua deluxe - the sunbeds were so comfy and the pool was a great size. Be careful the floor is very very slippy around the pool so little ones may need some pool shoes. The staff were incredibly friendly too we never had any complaints. Food & Drink Drink selection was so vast! Every kind of cocktail you can think of - some top shelf spirits included within AI too. At the deluxe and suites you can also get prosecco on AI too which was lovely. The pancake bar located at the pool bar was brilliant no faults. The snack bar at the bar in the suites was great too - wide selection from pizza, pasta, burgers, amazing salads. so much to choose from. The AI restaurant is shared with the suites and was great. Breakfasts were not varied - the same stuff everyday and i found this to be the worst meal of the day - just not very impressed. However lunch and dinner were delicious! We didnt eat out a huge amount because the food was really good. I will say that the restaurants get very very busy at peak times and sometimes we could be waiting 10 mins to be seated. Location INCREDIBLE!!! Centre of Tsilivi - bars and restaurants and shops on your doorstep. There was a small beach 5 mins walk away which was ok however we took a short taxi to the larger beach which was brilliant. I would say double check how much sunbeds are before you get on them because some of them for front row were 50-70 euros!! Water Park & Entertainment. This was very disappointing. We thought we would spend most of our time in the water park. In my opinion it was filthy! my little boy loved the lazy river so we would walk over to have a few times round then walk back. The entertainment is mainly located over in the water park - but it doesn't leave much to be desired. The team work hard but it just wasn't 5 star entertainment. The night time entertainment wasn't much better either. The kids discos were disasters the animation team didn't know a lot of the dance moves and had to rely on the TUI kids club reps to show them the dances. My little boy loves a kids disco - even he got bored and wanted to leave. The a la cartes are also in the water park. There are 2. The Mediterranean restaurant was great. The italian restaurant was a disaster - staff arguing between themselves, didn't get our drinks until mid way through our meal. We went because they were included but we wouldn't recommend. We would absolutely return to this hotel again - we had a wonderful time - Tsilivi is wonderful.

Wanted to love this hotel but so many factors went against it. During the entire week stay, we did not stay by the Deluxe pool due to the towel reservers being out in force at the crack of dawn. We had to use either the pool at the front of main reception on the ant infested grass or the waterpark every day. This was a huge disappointment. We walked past at various different times of day going back and forth to the room and it was never overly busy, just a sea of towels. The next downside was the, in our opinion, unusable private pool room which was completely north facing and got zero sunlight until approx 5.30pm in the evening. Think we used the pool twice the whole time we were there. So if you are placed in a room on the same side as the creperie/bar and you like sun, really sorry! It’s also really dark in the room because of this reason. The room however was lovely inside, you can tell it’s been renovated recently. The housekeeping team were great and we were provided with a set of towels in the afternoon for showers and then another fresh set later in the evening for the mornings! One thing that did bother us, anyone and everyone can just walk into this hotel. In lots of occasions we came and left by the Deluxe entrance and it’s never manned. There is also a street side entrance that you can just waltz straight into the Deluxe main pool area and again at the front of the suites, you could just wander through. This is the first experience of this hotel set up and I didn’t feel comfortable with it. The food was pretty good in the Aqua Restaurant (buffet). I can’t fault the wide variety each day, some lovely meals were had. The desserts were great! The staff are super busy but getting a drink at breakfast was hard work. A few breakfasts went without the hot drinks arriving. The snack bar is a huge plus for this hotel, had some lovely food and drink from here- we definitely used it to its full potential each day! Waterpark was fab for the kids, lovely staff there too. So glad considering we had to spend so much time there due to the pool situation. Tried the Garden Restaurant (theme night buffet) for one meal- it was an absolute disaster. I’ve never seen so many wasps in one place, without sounding dramatic, it was so bad we couldn’t even get food as it was swarmed. Useful pointers- you’ll be dropped off and picked up from the waterpark entrance if using your tour operator coach transfer. We weren’t aware of this until we arrived but might be useful to someone. Download the app before you arrive- painful minutes after a long travel day were spent faffing with this in reception. You have to enter a lot of details after downloading just to fully check in and go to your room. Lots of pool floats etc left in the Deluxe pool each night so you probably could chance not bringing anything and grabbing one of those when you arrive. Appreciate this is quite a negative review but it’s an honest one.
