Cavo Suites

Disappointed to say the least the hotel felt like a morgue no atmosphere. Breakfast was awful and cold most of rhe time. The pillows were too soft and the mattresses were rock hard. Cleaning was done every day clean towels and toilets nothing else! We had a swim up room on the summer side when there was some. The pool didn't look inviting at all it got a quick clean in the morning after all the rain it was nearly flooding they did nothing to fix this sun loungers and umbrellas left in a mess. For the money it definitely isn't worth it. We enjoyed our holiday instead down at antonis pool bar where we had great breakfasts everyday and the people were more friendly and welcoming

We had a pleasant stay here. We had a swim up suite and luckily it was on the sunny side. The other side got no sun all day. You could see the disappointment in people’s faces when they arrived if they were in the shaded side. I would not have been happy had it been me. The room was adequate, comfortable and kept clean with plenty of clean towels. Breakfast, although plentiful was not the best. Not much fresh fruit, yoghurts sitting out from 7 am no thanks. Adequate cooked choice but not the best sausage or bacon. Breakfast was a bit stale by 9am as it ended at ten but 9 onwards was always busier, why have breakfast ready from 7? Cavo Suites are in the perfect location near to bars, restaurants and shops but it was perfectly quiet all day and at night. Overall we had a lovely relaxing break. I wouldn’t return there but that’s just my choice, I’d be too worried I got a room with no sun on my swim up terrace.

For me this hotel ticked each box, its location is excellent. It was busy but never a problem finding a sun bed if you were having a pool day. Staying on a B&B basis helped as the food for breakfast was really good and the kitchen and table staff were polite and attentive and more importantly friendly. The room I had was a duplex and the right hand side so during the heat of the afternoon the shade it provided was welcoming. The room was clean and that's all that mattered to me. Each room had aircon and trust me you'll use it. Tea and coffee making facilities were provide and so is a fridge From a value perspective you will find all you want here. I never found this to be noisy during the 10 day stay, yes there are other hotels and bars and you will hear music, but once the patio door closes its somewhat sound proof and quiet

When we arrived we got shown to our room. Our room was completely in the dark. We had no sun on our balcony and it was miserable. Our room was dirty and the bed wasn’t even made up! I went down to speak to the reception( who were not warming or friendly) and was told we cannot change rooms as the manager can only do that. I had walked off and came back and was told we can move to the other side of the resort. The room was the exact same but we had sun on the balcony. The so called “sofa bed” is not a sofa bed it’s pretty much a prison bed. There was no sheets or pillows left out so I had to call them back up to make the “sofa bed” up for my mum. The staff weren’t friendly whatsoever, you’d walk through reception and woudnt even get a hello. No full length mirror in the room. Very basic room. Just a bathroom and bed. Breakfast was ok, most of it is cold. Cereals are all stale as are the nuts. Juices and water were warm. Not enough sunbeds. We didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we wanted. The place could definitely do with new stuff and an update of rooms.

First off I want to say lovely hotel, great location for a quite holiday your not on a strip as such 2/3 restaurants near by and a few bars but only a short walk to Kalamaki Main Road (busy strip) Staff were lovely but we didn’t need to converse much as everything was as we needed! Smooth check in and out we arrived before 3pm check in and our room was already ready so bonus! Our room was a swim up suite now I would say don’t get your hopes up as we got no sun on our side even at 5pm not even a slight bit! So ended up packing our bag going to the end of the pool to find a sun bed, few and far between as 10 swim up suites got no sun and the rest of the hotel who didn’t have swim up suites were wanting a sun bed too. Our room was clean and fresh towels each day! We were only here 5 nights so unsure to if the beds actually got changed but were made fresh nonetheless! Apart from the other reviews comments on no full mirror and no where to dry towels or swimwear on your balcony it’s a lovely place to stay and would say it’s worth the money for a quite hotel! Good selection at breakfast (could do with more fruit personally!) with cereals, toast, pastries and help yourself english breakfast! All in all I would stay again and take the gamble on a swim up suite just don’t have an expectation that you’ll get any sun!
