Elegance Luxury Executive Suites

Wow we had the best time relaxing as a couple for our honeymoon at this beautiful place. Where do I even begin? Upon arrival we were greeted by Chrissa and another lady who gave us a brief tour of the main building and restaurant then we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a private pool suite with breathtaking views. The suites are very private. Not overlooked by the balcony above with its clever layout. The glass diving the pools was also not see through so was a completely private experience. The pool was warm from the sun and very pleasant to be in. In the suites you have everything you need, even little items such as a sewing kit and dental kit are provided. The furnishings are high quality and maid cleans to a very high standard each day. We had the breakfast & dinner package which was delicious and you choose from a menu of different options each night. We always had something we liked. It is 5 course menu with bread and olives to accompany. Wine is good and locally made, very lovely selection of wines and cocktails which are freshly made. The food was the highlight of our trip to Zante! We looked forward to it each night and enjoyed sitting in the romantic peaceful setting watching the sun set. During our stay there were a jazz band and also a man playing saxophone one night which was lovely. The service from every staff member was outstanding. You can walk down the hill into the local town it took us around 10 mins to walk down the hill and then you go left to find some bars and shops as well as a beach with lovely spots to sit and have a drink overlooking the sea. You can instead turn right at the bottom of the hill which leads you to a bigger town with more shops and restaurants. Taxi cost €12 to the local town. There is a bus to other places too or you can hire a car. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the stress of life and find some much needed relaxation as well a bit of gentle exploration on foot. If you are confident hiring a car then you can experience so much of the island, we just wanted to switch off and relax and we are now heading back to the UK feeling refreshed with some fabulous memories!

My wife and myself are nearing the end of an 8 night stay at the Elegance Luxury Executive Suites located in the hills of Tragaki Village (6-7 Kms from Zakynthos) surrounded by Olive trees overlooking both the Amboula & Bouka (Donkey) beaches. The property is in its own grounds with 46 suites (all of them sizeable and a number with their own private pools) - 22 in the original main building and the remaining 24 in two newer ones. It is also Adults Only with a large swimming pool and provided very good WiFi. The staff are excellent with the most approachable and helpful GM Krissa having put a very good team together. In particular, we have been impressed with both Receptionists, Raiman and Stamatis (who oversee the Dinner & Breakfast arrangements respectively) as well as all their colleagues - including an excellent Housekeeping team who - in addition to providing great room service - maintain the highest cleanliness standards. Both the Breakfasts and Dinners (5 courses - with a different menu daily - for all those guests who have sensibly opted for Half Board - something I would strongly recommend) are not only of the highest quality food but very much cater for the cosmopolitan makeup of the guests. I have also been impressed with the policy (unlike many properties I have stayed at) of providing free water to guests - in their rooms, by the pool (with ice & lemon), at all meals and as required. Another plus point has been the occasional live entertainment at Dinner. Not surprisingly because of the location, most guests have their own transportation to get around the Island. We, however, made good use of the Public Bus service to and from Zakynthos. The bus stop (together with the timetable) can be found in Tragaki Village and the 30 minute journey is very good value at Euros 2.20 per adult. One tip, use the Solomos Square Bus Stop on the return journey as it is a popular service with the bus quickly filling up! With a few minor exceptions (nothing wrong with the swimming pool towels but bigger/thicker bath ones in the room would be much appreciated!), it has been a most enjoyable stay - one we would certainly have no reservations in recommending to others.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend in July 26. We have experienced some of the finest hotels across the globe and this hotel is up there with it. It’s much more intimate than some of the big, heartless hotel chains, from the moment you arrive and Chrysa greets you, you know it’s special. We were upgraded to a luxury executive suite with a pool on arrival and provided with à la carte dining in our room, despite our late arrival. Everything here is special, Sophie the masseuse has the magic touch, I had a wonderful massage and on the last day I was treated to a facial on the house which was magnificent! A word of warning though, don’t book excursions with anyone other than the hotel. I booked a boat trip online through “Get your guide” for a private turtle tour to snorkel, visit the ruins, the cave and the beautiful beach. We paid for a taxi to drop us off at the busy port, but then found no boat, a call confirmed there was no booking and we were stranded. We were refused taxis, the boat company and the agent were both blaming each other and no one offered to help us. A very lovely local lady helped us book a taxi and we escaped the nightmare, but I am still arguing over the cost and taxis. If you are lucky enough to be staying here, Chrysa and her team can book value excursions with all transport included. The find us first class matches and Michelin star restaurant, even room service. The 5 course evening meal is outstanding and the menu changes daily. Thanks so much to the whole team for a wonderful short break, I will return to take that turtle tour! 🐢😍❤️

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, just a short distance from Zakynthos Town, where you’ll find a wide range of restaurants, cozy eateries, and souvenir shops. The hotel was spotless, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you goes to the hotel manager, who personally checked in with us several times during our stay to ensure everything was perfect and that we were enjoying ourselves. That level of care and service truly made the experience extra special. The hotel also offers excellent food, a wonderful pool area with both morning and evening sun, and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Just returned from a fantastic week at the Elegance and our experience was 5-star in every respect. Set on a hill amongst the olive groves about a mile from the beach, the hotel enjoys a peaceful location away from crowds. This was what we were looking for and one of the main reasons why we chose to go. The rooms were quiet, extremely spacious and well equipped. Sheets, towels and courtesy toiletries replaced daily so no need to bring your own. The entire hotel kept spotlessly clean by the excellent housekeeping team. A breakfast buffet to die for. Literally hundreds of things to choose from so all nationalities catered for. If you’re staying half board then you’ll be treated to a superb 5 course al la carte menu every night with a decent choice of locally sourced produce. No chips, burgers and pizzas here! Free bottled water throughout the day and evening but obviously your other drinks will be charged to your room. Example prices: 330ml Amstel beer for 4 euros, 50ml Gordon’s gin 7 euros, cocktails 12 euros, wines from 35 euros per bottle. Very much in line with what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Entertainment was low key on a couple of nights per week so a very relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for karaoke, foam parties and shots till you drop, then this place is definitely not for you. If you’re the more discerning type (and probably 30-40+) then look no further. Last but not least are the staff themselves. Exceptional. The wonderful Chrysa manages the team extremely well and frankly never seems to sleep. Always there to ensure that everyone gets their wish and always comes to say hello. She’s a big fan of Fawlty Towers by the way! The restaurant waiting staff are all brilliant. So polite and extremely efficient with dinner service. Last but not least is the star of the show, Stamatis the bar manager. The kindest and most genuine person you could ever meet. His sole aim is to ensure that you are taken care of in every respect. You have a question and he’ll answer it. The man is an absolute diamond and deserves a big pay rise in my view. An absolute asset to an already excellent team. We’ll not forget our pots of Earl Grey tea and biscuits in the afternoon. Just perfect. In sum, therefore, if you want a top quality hotel in a peaceful location with stunning views then Elegance is for you. You will feel like one of the family while you’re there and you’ll feel fully recharged when you get back home to reality. Would we go again? 100% we would. In fact, if they’ve got any vacancies this autumn we might not even wait until 2027.
