King Jason Zante by Louis Hotels

If you are looking for a luxurious couples holiday then this is the place. As soon as we pulled up to the front of the hotel, both of our reactions were “wow!”. My boyfriend and I both love our luxury holidays but this hotel was head and shoulders above any others we have stayed at. The hotel was pristine the staff were amazing and so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We were informed if there were any drinks not on the menu just to ask and they could make them (cocktails were 10/10). All staff were very attentive and super helpful, but George especially really went above and beyond and looked after us and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. We were made to feel so welcome throughout the whole stay. Our room was lovely, spacious and always kept very clean and tidy. When we checked in, there was a birthday cake and a note from the hotel in our room, wishing my boyfriend a happy birthday. This was such a lovely personal touch and the cake was really tasty too! The hotel grounds were beautiful and so tranquil. The all-inclusive was amazing and the water garden buffet was the nicest all-inclusive food we had ever had. So tasty, fresh and flavoursome, with the separate salad room and a wine cellar which we were advised we could just go into and take whatever bottle we wanted and take it back to the room (although we didn’t actually need to do this because the restaurant/bar staff were constantly on the ball making sure our glasses were never empty!). The only downside to the holiday was the weather on the first couple of days which can’t be helped, but the hotel facilities including the bars, restaurants, spa and the 24 hour gym gave us plenty to do while we waited for the sunshine to come back out! We were never bored. If anything, we wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the hotel more! The staff on reception were also so helpful and helped us plan days out including hiring a car, booking taxis and recommending which beaches to see and which restaurants to eat at on different parts of the island. They also arranged a private taxi to pick us up and drop us back off at the airport, which took the stress away from us having to arrange our own transfers. Hotel location was great too. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel if you fancy a wonder around, but not at all rowdy. Overall, there is not a single bad thing I could say about this hotel. If you are debating it, take this as your sign to book it - you won’t regret it!

The staff are really friendly, attentive and accommodating. The resort had just opened for the season and so quiet but that was nice and this seems like a quiet resort anyway-also nice. The food choices are very good and so is the food. The salad bar in the Watergarden restaurant is just great with so much choice-I loved this in particular at lunchtime-even the hubby tried some. George is a star and he, along with the rest of the team, are so keen to ensure you have what you want and are enjoying your stay. There is a short but steep incline down/up to the hotel but doesn’t feel as bad as it looks when you do walk into the town area. You’ll have private transfers from and to airport so not an issue there. You can request bottles of wine from the wine room to the side of the Watergarden restaurant and take this to your room if you like too. We also used the spa facilities (fees obviously apply), which was very relaxing. The hubby had a body massage from Inna and I had a facial from Alexandra and they were excellent. We had 15% off after booking from the pool area as the spa manager gave taster massage sessions. We also booked the wine taster session which was interesting to try local wines and meet a few guests at the same time-we had fun doing this. We did have an issue with the air con-we wanted it cooler than the setting and the team have tried to resolve this for us. This has been a lovely relaxing stay for the week which is exactly what was needed and I would recommend the resort.

From the moment we arrived, King Jason Zante set a standard that never once dipped throughout our entire stay. The atmosphere is unlike anything we’ve experienced before — serene, sophisticated, and utterly beautiful. Perched above the bay of Tsilivi with sweeping sea views and endless shimmering pools, this place genuinely feels like an island within an island. The design, the grounds, the olive trees — everything creates an almost magical sense of calm. We were upgraded to a Garden Suite with sea view, and the room was simply exceptional. Spacious, immaculately presented, incredibly quiet, and with a veranda offering breathtaking views across the garden and sea. The upgrade was arranged by Giannis, the Front Office Manager, who had also taken the time before we even arrived to pre-book our restaurant reservations for a special occasion. That level of thoughtfulness before you’ve even set foot in the hotel tells you everything about the culture here. Every detail had been carefully considered — this is a room you genuinely never want to leave. The staff are the real heart of this hotel. What struck us most was their almost intuitive attentiveness; on more than one occasion they seemed to anticipate what you needed before you’d even thought to ask. Special mention to George, the General Manager, who brings genuine warmth and energy to the whole operation. His presence is felt everywhere, and it sets the tone for every single member of the team. We also visited the spa, where Sotheria, the Spa Manager, gave us the most beautiful welcome along with a generous discount. Ina then delivered the most wonderfully relaxing Cretan Ritual Massage so deeply soothing that I actually drifted off to sleep on the table. Quite an endorsement! The food and drink matched the surroundings perfectly. The all-inclusive offering here is a world away from the typical; creative menus, high quality ingredients, and beautiful settings whether dining under the stars or in the elegant restaurant. The cocktails and wine selection were also a real highlight. Finally, a word to anyone hesitating due to the current global situation… Zakynthos is safe, welcoming, and very much open. With so much uncertainty in the world right now, travel decisions are deeply personal, but for us, coming here was an absolute joy and one we have no regrets about whatsoever. King Jason Zante is a truly magnificent place, and we will absolutely be back.

Currently staying at King Jason Zante. Arrived 3days ago, since we arrived we’ve had nothing but an amazing experience!…the hotel is finished to a fabulous standard, pools and luxury sun loungers to choose from, the food is of a high standard with loads to choose from with an atmospheric salad bar!. The staff are absolutely fantastic they’re so attentive, nothing is too much, everything they do is with a smile!…I can’t sign off without giving “Uncle George” a special mention he’s so friendly he’s epitomises the experience of King Jason! With the local town of Tsivili only 1/3mile away has plenty of choice of quality shops,bars & restaurants to visit. We Will definitely be returning to King Jason in future!

We are currently here now and the hotel is absolutely wonderful. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We feel very safe here and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. 1000000% recommend- you won’t be disappointed!
