Alua Linda Mallorca

This is a solid choice following its recent renovation. The hotel feels fresh and modern, with a good standard throughout. The pool area is well kept, with plenty of sunbeds available, although it’s worth noting it sits close to a road. Location-wise, it’s really convenient. There’s a bus stop right outside with easy links to Palma, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the beach and resort centre. Overall, it offers great value for money and makes for an easy, comfortable stay.

I was about to book this hotel but read the recent reviews. I’ve spoken to the Hyatt booking centre who advised that it is expected to open on 19th May. Whether it does is yet to be seen! Just thought this might be helpful for those checking out reviews before booking.

I had booked 3 rooms for 3 nights in what was supposed to be a luxurious, central hotel in Palma de Mallorca. The hotel I booked is Alua Linda. I was contacted 2 weeks before the booking from Hyatt and they told me that this hotel won't open when we were supposed to arrive. They offered 3 alternatives, one was adults only, even though we have a child on our reservation. The other one was really old property in Palma with outdated facilities and bad reviews online (Alua Leo Mallorca). And the third option was again an older hotel, far away from the city, but it was the only one with better reviews so I agreed to change it. I asked them for upgrade of the room for the inconvenience caused, but they refused it. We now have to rent a car, stay at an old hotel and lose time traveling.
