Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

Beautiful location next a sandy beach. Food was excellent and the grounds were very clean and tidy. Rooms reasonable size although bathroom requires a bit of refurbishment. Big negative was having to be up at 6.15am to queue for a decently positioned sunbed. The entertainment was varied - Tina Turner Story was very good, other acts not so good! Not as many bars and restaurants around the area so very restricted.

Lovely hotel, staff really friendly and work hard. The hotel is nice and clean. Reception - staff were smiling and also helpful. Restaurant - we were half board. The food was always tasty and each day they had a speciality area which could be cheeses, desserts, Spanish food etc. It’s difficult to cater for multiple nationalities but you could always find a nice meal. A special mention to Aurelia and Denise who were the dining room attendants where we tended to sit, they were great!! Rooms - large, clean comfortable room with fantastic sea views! Entertainment - we didn’t sit in the entertainment area because it was too hot but we did listen from our room. Generally good 👍 Pool area - the lifeguard works so hard! There are a number of sunbeds which are laid out and then there were a lot more stacked with umbrellas. You will have no problem getting a bed. You do get a number of people queuing and running for beds at 6:30 am but honestly you don’t need to. If you ask the lifeguard he will get you beds, cushions and an umbrella. The pool is deep and is cleaned every day. Daytime Bar - 2 bars, 1 by the pool the other which is open to non- hotel residents, we tended to use this one to get a view and have a breeze. Food & drinks good. Resort - it is a quiet resort with only a handful of restaurants. If you want a chilled holiday, we recommend!

Fantastic Hotel, spotlessly clean, fantastic staff especially on reception and in the restaurant. This place has the best location in Camp de Mar, it is completely central to everything that is going on with brilliant views of the beach and bay from most rooms. Cannot recommend highly enough and we will be back for sure!

Beautiful spot, easy to relax by pool or join throng on beach. Laid back vibe, staff excellent. Day/night activities/gym if you want them but no-one pushes anything. Comfortable rooms with gorgeous views. Very clean & always smells nice! Quieter resort ie no nightclubs, any noise finishes by 11pm. Good food & service. Great to watch how other half live in yachts/villas! Been 7 times, will return.
