An incredible hotel with the most welcoming staff. The moment you arrive, you know this hotel is something different, it's unapologetic about it's luxury, very Dubai! I was worried about the location, being at the top of the Palm, as there's not much there except other hotels. However, you didn't need to leave the hotel. It also pairs with it's sister hotel the Atlantis (next door) which is more of a family resort. I found the variety of restaurants at the Royal hit just the right balance, you can also access the Atlantis restaurants but I didn't need to. A special mention goes to the waiter at Ariana's Persian Kitchen, who was very knowledgable and knew the history of all the dishes. I stayed in the Palmscape King room overlooking the fountain, I did worry it was going to be noisy but it wasn't, however get a room as high up as possible. You also have access to the beach, pools, and beach clubs. I especially loved the Nobu Beach Club, the atmosphere and service was excellent, food was of course first class. I'm already planning my return in 2027. Can't wait to come back!
