I recently stayed at the: Clarion Inn & Suites Miami International Airport, 5325 Northwest 36th Street Miami Springs, FL 33166, United States, from Jun 24-Wed-Fri 26 June 2026. If I could rate them a ZERO that is what I would rate them. 1: THEY LEFT ME AT THE AIRPORT; I arrive at the Miami airport at 10 pm. I found my way to the “ ground transportation” area. I called the hotel to inquire where I was to meet the shuttle. I was told “they will be SOMEWHERE BETWEEN gate 1 and 28 you will just have to look for them. I was at gate 28. I walked down to gate 1, almost a half mile and NO SHUTTLE. I walked back up to gate 9 and called clarion AGAIN. I was told they just had a shuttle return and the next one should be there by 11:15 pm , Somewhere BETWEEN gate 1 and 28, you will just have to flag them down when you see them. This was 10:45 pm. I waited till 11:15 pm and had to contact an uber to take me to the hotel. 2- I arrived at the hotel and asked to speak with a manager. No manager on duty. I asked about a military discount. I was told i would have to call “ choice hotels”. 3- Inwent to their snack food area. They wanted $15 for a salad,$10 for a sandwich and $6 for a candy bar. Fortunately I had packed snacks. 4- the next morning I asked to speak with a manager. I was told one would not be into 10 am. I went to their cafe for breakfast. No one was at the counter. Another hotel customer had to tell me what their procedures were. The woman finally came out from the back. I ordered my breakfast and coffee and asked for water. She pointed to the vending machine and informed me they offered water for $2,50. I did not find out till later there was an IHOP only 2 blocks east I could have obtained a better breakfast and much better service. 5-I walked out of the hotel heading west to see if I could locate a conscience store. I saw an employee wearing one of their shirts working outside. I asked him where there was a conscience store. His response was “No speakee engish”! 6- I returned to the hotel. I observed another employee in the snack area. I asked here where there was a restaurant was for later that evening. Again! “No speakee engish”! 7-I went back down at 10 am to speak with a manager. I told the girls at the desk about being left at the airport. They began making excuses, well you should have gone to…… I told them again I called them twice. They referred me to a gentleman in a back office. He had me forward him a copy of the receipt for the uber and said he would have to clear it with his boss about reimbursing me. He apparently was not the manager. I asked about a military discount. I was informed they do not offer discounts through third parties. One has to book directly with the hotel for any discounts. I had booked through AAA. He said he would provide me a meal at their cafe in addition to paying for the uber. I called an uber to take me to the location I was to visit that day. The man came and gave me $15 for the previous nights uber. I asked about the meal and he said he would let them know in the cafe. 8-I returned that evening and went to the cafe to inquire about the meal. The girl claimed she knew nothing about it. 9- The hot water even when turned on fully to hot barely made it to Luke warm for a shower. 10-I had to get up at 1 am to be at the airport very early. I called Thursday evening to leave a wake up call for 1 am. I woke up prior to 1 am. At 1:10 am they still had not called for the 1 AM wake up call. I called at 1:10 am to tell them to cancel the 1 AM wake up call. They said nothing other than,”okay thank you”. 11- I took the “key” back down to the front desk to drop it off while I waited for my uber to the airport.( their “free” shuttles only run certain times.) I placed the key on the counter, the girl said thank you. I nodded and walked toward the door when I hear her say “you’re welcome”! 12- they advertised an arcade on site. There was one! The ONLY thing good I can say about this place is the housekeeping came in while I was gone and made the bed and picked up some. I WOULD advise against this hotel. There is no customer service. They ‘re are rude , unpleasant, and unprofessional. The decor is outdated, and there is no hot water for a shower. Choose another hotel. This one sucks!!!

Stayed one night before a flight. This is definitely a high use hotel due to airport location. To/from airport shuttle offered. Shuttle to Miami cruise port offered for a cost. Building is older and needs some upkeep however appears to be clean. Staff are friendly. Convenience store next door (24hrs) and some restaurants within walking distance. Specific to our room: water took FOREVER to get warm, not even hot. TV did not work; kept getting input errors. Asked three times for maintenance to fix however concerns were not addressed. Air is damp, overly deodorized. Beds are not the most comfortable but pillows are. Pay for parking, small exercise area, car rental onsite and continental breakfast. Shampoo/conditioner are multi use and wall mounted. Booked this room directly and paid in advance. When checking in was told there was a $3 hotel fee that needed to be paid- did not ask why, just paid it. If you need someplace close to airport with shuttle services this will suffice however there are better options within the area. Tip: if needing cruise shuttle try reserving in advance as the 10am fills up fast.
