SEPTEMBER 2026 STAY UPDATE Okay, so we stayed at Clarion Inn & Suites Intl Hotel Miami Airport again this September, and unfortunately… I have some updates. The last time we stayed here, I gave this hotel a 4-star rating. After this most recent stay, however, I have to drop that rating to 2 stars. 😬 Here’s why… 📺 THE TVS NEED AN UPDATE It’s 2026. At this point, I really feel like smart TVs should be a standard feature in hotel rooms. The TVs need to have internet access and allow guests to use streaming/movie apps. After a long day of travelling or sightseeing, sometimes you just want to get back to your room, relax in bed and watch Netflix, YouTube or whatever you enjoy. This is such a small thing that makes a big difference to the guest experience. 🚽 ROOM 401 — THE TOILET The toilet in Room 401 does not flush properly. You literally have to hold down the handle for over 30 seconds to get it to flush properly. 😩 We did contact the front desk and informed them about the issue, but unfortunately, nothing was done about it. That’s definitely something that should have been addressed, especially after being reported. 🚗 PARKING IS NOT FREE This one definitely caught us off guard. Parking is $13 PER DAY for hotel guests. Now, I understand that some hotels charge for parking, but here’s the thing: I actually called several of the surrounding hotels to compare, and they offer free parking for their guests. So when you’re already paying to stay at the hotel, that extra $13 per day can definitely add up, especially if you’re staying for several nights. AND YES… THERE’S A PACKAGE FEE TOO If you’re travelling and having packages delivered to the hotel, keep this in mind: The hotel charges $5 PER PACKAGE just to receive it for you. We’ve stayed at other hotels where you can have packages delivered without being charged a receiving fee, so this was another unexpected expense. And honestly, when you start adding these additional charges together, it definitely changes how you look at the overall value of the stay. So, unfortunately, my rating has changed. Previous rating: 4/5 September 2026 rating: 2 I’m not saying this hotel is terrible or that nobody should stay here. This is simply my honest experience and my honest opinion after staying here again. There are definitely things I still appreciate about the property, but I also believe there are areas where management can do better, especially when it comes to keeping up with modern hotel amenities, addressing maintenance issues when guests report them, and being transparent about additional fees.

I booked this hotel specifically so I could rest and have a hot shower after almost 24 hours of travelling to the USA for the World Cup. Unfortunately, due to a delayed Delta flight, I only had a couple of hours at the hotel before continuing my journey. Even so, the purpose of the booking remained the same—to rest and freshen up. The biggest problem was that there was no hot water in my room. After nearly a full day of international travel, I couldn't even have a basic hot shower. This isn't a luxury—it's a fundamental amenity that every paying guest should be able to expect. It completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the room and made what little time I had there almost pointless. I immediately contacted the hotel after my stay and requested a full refund. To their credit, they initially responded promptly, apologised, and said the matter would be investigated by their Engineering team before they reviewed my refund request. That is where the customer service completely fell apart. After their initial response, I heard nothing. I sent a polite follow-up asking for an update. That was ignored. I then sent a further email after more than three weeks had passed, again requesting an update and an explanation for the complete lack of communication. Once again, there was no meaningful response. A hotel can experience maintenance issues—these things happen. What is far harder to accept is the way this hotel treats customers when something goes wrong. Their aftercare and customer service have been abysmal. They appear happy to apologise initially but then leave customers chasing them for answers while failing to provide updates or resolve legitimate complaints. If everything goes perfectly, your stay may be fine. But if you encounter any problems, don't expect them to be dealt with professionally or within a reasonable timeframe. Based on both the failure to provide a basic service and the disappointing way my complaint has been handled, I cannot recommend staying here. There are plenty of other airport hotels that value their guests and communicate properly when issues arise.

Its close to the airport but that should not be a reason for the price. It was dirty inside. There was big ass bed bugs in room 423. Make sure you check for bed bugs. The tv is old and there’s nothing interesting to watch.
