Days Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North

I have to really admit upon reading the negative reviews. I was very hesitant about coming here two months ago.. I was scared and nervous because of the negative reviews such as a roach infested room, horrible customer service, etc. initially I was going to have a negative experience but the general manager Miss M turned it around completely because I drive or ride a mobility scooter device, and I called upon the instruction to let him know that I was at the airport and I had several conversation conversations with the manager who assured me the driver will pick me up first . That day, I would never forget because it was when the whole world experience a very brutal nasty cold snap to include Miami and not only was it freezing cold. It was raining on top of that.. after sitting almost an hour waiting for the driver to come. Everyone bum rushed me to the vehicle left me hanging without getting on the driver said he will be back in about one hour and that was just way too long. I called back very upset, but the manager at the time stated get a taxi and we will pay for it and apologize profusely. . Immediately I was happy I get to the hotel. The staff was very nice. My room was nothing like the reviews. It was huge, very huge, clean and nice and they also offer courtesy rides on a big tour bus type charter bus accommodating once again, my Scooter, which was very big that the big bottom opening to store it. I just got here and the experience is still the same but this time when I called and let them know that I was at the airport. The manager called back and said that it was a new manager, Miss S and she said that they no longer can pick up the mobility scooters at first I felt sad but then she said so just take a taxi and when they get here we will pay for immediately. I felt happy again and they did just that. The service here in terms of how I was treated was amazing. They got me in a room early although was not check in time and I love the location. There’s a subway right on the premises and just a short less than two block distance there’s a McDonald’s and an IHOP and a gas station next-door directly next-door.. is definitely worth the money and they were the most reasonably priced hotel. I found on Booking.com and Hotels.com. It’s a must come and visit.

Good practice for going to a third world country. Absolutely the worst hotel. The management obviously doesn't believe in maintenance and upgrading. They put a huge chest of drawers at the end of the bed that only had six inches of walking room by it so you had to crawl over the bed to get to the other side. Front door stuck, bathroom door broken by knob and screwed back together with a sheet rock screw. Rust, broken tiled, NO HOT WATER, barely luke warm both days. More and more but you get the picture. Plus it was cruise ship day and they tripled their room prices. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE, THIS IS A DIVE DUMP! Windham should be totally embarrassed to have their name on it.
