AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My wife and I planned a trip to Miami and everything was going great until we got to the Rodeway Inn. We checked in and were given our room keys. When we got to the room, we did the first thing we always do when we stay at a hotel, and that’s to check the mattress for signs of bugs. Much to our surprise when we lifted the mattress, we didn’t find any bugs, but what we did find was THREE CRACK PIPES! We immediately went to the front desk to report it, and after some thought we decided we were not comfortable staying, so we requested a refund and were told that we needed to contact Priceline to begin the process. I did contact Priceline and they said they would contact the Rodeway Inn to get authorization for the refund. When Priceline called me back, I was informed that Rodeway Inn would only authorize a partial refund because THEY LIED and said that they checked the room and didn’t find anything. Unfortunately for them my wife took a photo that is time, date, and geolocation stamped. Nice try. So if you care about the health of you and your family, stay far far away from Rodeway Inn. Unfortunately the lowest rating I could give was 1 star even through they deserve a -47.

Dirty bed with blood on sheets, it is like staying in an old building where you can hear noise and people talking on downstairs, even we heared the music coming from the nearby child care. Spent here only one horrible night and we left. This place needs to be close permanently, stay away from it and save your life.

I originally booked a reservation at Rodeway Inn South Miami Coral Gables from December 21–28. I had to check out early on December 24th. The reservation policy clearly states that the penalty for changes after the deadline is limited to one night. I checked out early with the front desk accordingly. The hotel told me to contact Expedia for the refund. Expedia then told me they can't do any refunds, and they did not provide a clear reason. I reached out to the hotel directly via email and received no response. As of January 1st, the refund for the unused nights and parking remains unresolved due to lack of communication. Very disappointing experience and poor follow-up.
