SLS Brickell Hotel & Residences

Trochu překvapilo, že 60 dolarů pokojová služba přišla v dárkovém pytlíku a kartónových odběrových bednách. Obývací pokoj vypadá jako místnost pro hosty, kde je pár párků libovolně umístěného základního nábytku. Vše vypadá superficiálně, ale skutečná kvalita / povrchové úpravy se zdají být průměrné / nízké. Naopak, zaměstnanci byli přátelští, pokoj je obrovský (dostali jsme upgrade na 2 BR / 2, 5 BA apartmá) a jídlo z pokojové služby bylo opravdu docela chutné. Doufám, že přidají trochu více polštáře, jak se dostanou do rostoucí bolesti.

I am very disappointed with my stay at this property. While the location itself was convenient, the overall experience fell far below what would be considered acceptable accommodations. The biggest issue was the room condition. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, making the room extremely uncomfortable throughout the night. The unit did not begin working correctly until approximately 6:00 AM the following morning, resulting in a very poor night's sleep and a very frustrating experience. In addition, the room had almost no noise insulation. Outside noise was constant and excessive throughout the night, making it difficult to rest. Conversations, traffic, and general outdoor activity could be heard clearly from inside the room. A hotel room should provide a reasonable level of quiet and privacy, and unfortunately this room did not. Cleanliness and room preparation were also disappointing. The bed sheets had an unpleasant odor, raising concerns about whether they had been properly refreshed before our arrival. Furthermore, the bathroom amenities were not stocked correctly. There was no shampoo or conditioner available in the shower. Instead, all of the dispensers appeared to contain only body wash, which was inconvenient and reflected a lack of attention to basic guest needs. Considering the room rate charged, the value received was simply not acceptable. Guests should reasonably expect a functioning air-conditioning system, clean linens, proper bathroom amenities, and adequate noise control. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet those basic expectations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve maintenance, housekeeping standards, room preparation, and guest comfort. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property unless significant improvements are made. From check in to check out the experience was 15/10. Our trip was booked through our Amex card and upon check in we were greeted with all of the information pertaining to our status, explained with clarity and sincerity. We were pleased with the opportunity for an early checkin and room upgrade. When we arrived to the room it was beautiful, well kept, smelled amazing, and most importantly clean. The balcony was a pleasant touch with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was spacious fully tiled with a walk in shower/tub and separate water closet divided by frosted glass. As we decompressed from our trip and got ready for the pool, we observed the hustle and bustle of the street below as well as the many supercars running the streets. I’m a gear head so I absolutely loved the view! The 9th floor which has the bar, pool, small putting green, tennis court / basket ball court, and a multitude of poolside seating options was clean and well kept. We ended up spending the next 3 days at the same cabana from open to close while being accommodated by some of the best bartenders and staff I’ve experienced in a hospitality setting. Lazaro is the man, period. The entire staff was top notch, but the way the schedule worked out he was our primary at the bar, and he did not disappoint. The guy has a great sense of humor, professionalism, and attentiveness that should be acknowledged…. If you are reading this Laz, I can’t thank you enough for making our anniversary day 10/10. The name of the other gentleman with the tattoos tending the bar and the woman who I’m assuming was management are escaping me, but they deserve to be acknowledged too. Truly top notch individuals. Upon check out I was given a comprehensive breakdown of credits, deductions, and other perks without prompt. The bill was clear, and dead accurate. No discrepancies on the charges, which I have had at other places during travels. It really goes to show that the SLS has their internal communication and billing system down pat. Thank you to everyone from house keeping, all the way up to the top for making our stay memorable. I will absolutely stay at the SLS next time I’m in brickell. There is no reasons to stay anywhere else.
