Comfort Inn JFK Airport

The Comfort Inn was just perfect for our 1 night stopover at JFK. After a long flight we chose to take a cab to the hotel although the hotel does offer a free shuttle service. Our reception on arrival at the hotel was very friendly and efficient. Just what you need after a long day. The room was much better than we expected. It was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a reasonably good night’s sleep. We had a very early start the next morning. Again the receptionist was very friendly and helpful organizing a cab to take us back to the airport. Overall our stay was very good the only minor issue was that the hotel was a little noisy with people coming and going throughout the night. This should be expected at an airport hotel. It’s just that some people are just not as considerate as others when arriving late at a hotel. We would definitely recommend the Comfort Inn if you are staying at JFF. It is an excellent value for money hotel

We did not have the best start to our stay with our booking not existing with the hotel despite showing as confirmed on booking.com. At 2am we were exhausted and just needed to sleep after a long flight. The day staff were incredibly friendly especially those at the front desk and the lady serving us breakfast. The room was great and the breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and lovely hot coffee. George Dallas our shuttle driver was just lovely and very helpful during our trip to pick up our hire car at the airport.

The hotel is conveniently located from JFK airport and they offer a free shuttle from the Federal Circle stop of the Air Train. The night staff is very kind and the check-in process was not tedious. The breakfast is better than average and the cafeteria personnel are friendly and they are there to help you and to replenish the food items frequently. The rooms are very small but the beds are very comfortable; it is a good place to spend one night or just to rest after a long flight or while you wait for a connection. However, the day staff people are RUDE and show they don't care about your business. The check-out person was very unkind and was cleaning some items with a sanitizing wipe while she was also ignoring customers asking some questions; she truly needs more training.
