Zanzi Resort

Nevěděl jsem, že existuje ráj na zemi :) tak tady opravdu ano. Velice luxusní a příjemný resort nabízí prostorné pokoje, které jsou velice pěkně vybaveny. Perosnál hotelu je velice usměvavý a vždy rád pomůže. Jídlo v restauraci vždy velmi chutné a moc nám chutnalo. doporučuji

Jestli hledáte krásné, tiché a uklidňující místo s dobrými službami, tak jste tu správně. Náš pobyt v Zanzi Resort byl úžasný. Vily jsou prostorné, velmi dobře vyzdobené a obklopené krásnou zahradou. Jídlo je vynikající. Když toužíte po soukromí, tak můžete relaxovat ve vašem vlastním plaveckém bazénu nebo soukromé pláži! Personál je úžasný. Příjemní lidé, kteří vám dokážou pomoci se vším co je třeba, aniž by byli nepříjemní. Zvláštní díky Serengeti! Vřele doporučujeme.

Honeymoon stay post safari in mainland Tanzania: Lovely hotel with totally private villas. Our villa was stunning with private pool, hammock and nice living room and bedroom. Large bathroom. The hotel itself is tropical in layout and a highlight is the lovely jetty. The beach is man made and small but nice. The food was very tasty and the chefs were able to accommodate dietaries. Breakfast was a highlight especially out floating breakfast which was dreamy! We also had a Swahili cooking class that was great. A special thank you to some of the staff - Francis, Abdulla, Catherine and Geoffrey. They were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The massages were incredible so thank you so much to the lovely lady (so sorry we forgot her name). The only thing that was negative is the service wasn’t great despite the staff being so nice - it was slow and they didn’t clear our breakfast/ lunch from the villa until asked and drinks were slow to arrive and needing following up. These niggles were a shame considering the cost. Overall it was lovely but the service issues were surprising considering how lovely the staff were individually.

Ever been somewhere that felt more like a memory than a destination? That’s what Zanzi Resort became for us. We spent 8 nights there in April, but it only took one sunset to know we’d never forget it. A part of our hearts stayed behind, tucked between the palm trees and the sound of the ocean breathing quietly just beyond the jungle. The food was something else. Honest. Natural. Everything tasted the way it SHOULD. Like a ripe mango off the tree, like fish that had seen the ocean just hours before. No pretentiousness, just real, good food that nourished more than just our bodies. The staff… what a team. Warm, professional, always ready to help without ever hovering. Their English was great, but even without words, their kindness was clear. They made us feel like we belonged there. And the villa? Way beyond what we imagined. Spacious, clean, luxurious, yet somehow still cozy. We had everything we needed and more...and not a single mosquito or bug the whole time. I still don’t know how they managed that in the middle of the jungle, but they did. And what a jungle it is. Zanzi isn’t just surrounded by nature, it is nature! You walk through paths lined with coconut trees, mangoes, palms of every kind, and all of it feels untouched, wild, alive. There’s even a private beach, where time slows down and silence means something. They also helped us explore the island in ways we never could’ve on our own: swimming with dolphins, spotting monkeys, standing beside ancient turtles. Every detail was handled with care, and every moment felt magical. Special thanks to the whole team, and to the manager who made everything run so smoothly. Your warmth didn’t go unnoticed. Zanzibar itself is something out of a dream, raw, green, full of life, and Zanzi Resort lets you feel it all without ever letting go of comfort. We arrived as visitors, but we left feeling like we were leaving home. And honestly, we can’t wait to go back. THE BEST RESORT IN ZANZIBAR!

Zanzi Resort is the best hotel experience. Love the late breakfast until 12 in the room in front of our private pool. The breakfast is super awesome and I would argue that it is better than most top breakfasts in the Nordics - even the ones that win breakfast awards. Love the fact that they don't have a room service fee and you can buy stuff for the villa at any time. Private place and very few people. So this is a place to chill. Close to Stone Town, so if you want to combine with Zafari and stuff then this is one of the better locations compared to the north and east sides. Zanzi is perfect for couples and families wanting to hang out together. If you want to see some of the long Zanzibar beaches - then I might combine with another hotel (if you have not seen the long beaches before). Some will likely be disappointed with low tide beach play. High tide is awesome for swimming at Zanzi from the beach. During low tide, you need beach-footware or use the pier. Important remark; all of Zanzibar beaches will have challenges to swim during low tide (some parts of Nungwi might be OK, but that is a busy place compared to Zanzi Resort). At Zanzi you wake up - look out into the jungle or the ocean, jump in the pool, and wait for breakfast to be brought to your room. Then you hang out and relax - perhaps explore the pier or go on an excursion, and then get an awesome 5-course dinner at night - either at the beach, on the pier, in their restaurant, or in your own villa.
