Just got back from a 7 night stay here and can honestly not fault the hotel at all. I was apprehensive at first after reading some of the reviews but honestly had the best time. Travelled with my 16year old daughter so just the two of us. Yes the hotel rooms are dated but everything is clean and tidy. The entertainment staff are amazing, especially Lou Lou, Gomez and Aladine, they got everyone participating in activities but were not overly pushy if you didn't want to participate. The lifeguards, Rami, Amil, Kahled and the Bruno Mars look-a-like kept the pool area clean and tidy and were always on hand to help with anything and answer any questions. The waiting staff at breakfast, lunch and dinner were polite and courteous and would also do anything to help, as would the bar staff. The food is quite fish based and even though we don't eat fish we always managed to find something to eat. The hotel is only 30 mins by car away from the airport and there is plenty to do outside the hotel (not that you need to leave as lots to keep you occupied). The beach is just over the road and there is a section dedicated to the hotel with sunbeds and a lifeguard (Kahled) who will look after you. There are visible jellyfish though which put my daughter off so we didn't stay long, however appeared to be very popular with lovely soft sand. I would 100% recommend this hotel, as long as you are aware the rooms are dated and aren't expecting fully refurbished rooms then you will have a great time and be looked after 100%.

First of all the review has got to start with , we travelled as a couple and the holiday was £700 each for 7 nights with easyJet, so bear in mind this is £100 a day for flights, accommodation, food and drink (alcohol obviously included) So the review is I feel a very honest review. This is not a “European standard” four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are outdated and definitely within need a refurb, the sheets don’t fit the bed but you know what they’re comfy beds. Many previous reviews have stated the sheets are dirty and the towels are dirty. They aren’t, when you first arrive at the hotel they hand you a sheet that states you get clean towels every 3 days and fresh sheets every 7, so for the amount of time you spend in the room what does it matter. Then onto the rest of the hotel. The pool and I cannot emphasise this enough, is STUNNING! the size, the cleanliness and the beds around it are plentiful, just one to add is bring your own towel for around the pool otherwise there’s a five euro/pound charge to borrow one. Around the pool during the day and I really want to state this one, bring your own cup/flask and the staff will happily fill it, otherwise be prepared to drink out of little paper coffee cups. Next the food, it’s edible, during the day breakfast has a standard choice of croissants and freshly made omelettes, your standard all inc hotel. Lunch is CHAOS. We would fully recommend doing the 1230 sitting other than the 1315 or as they decided near the end of our holiday due to demand the 1345 sitting, it’s totally uncontrolled and manic to try and get a seat , and sometimes they do run out , the burgers for example they only make say 30/40 and once they’re gone that’s it , then you’re left to fight it out with the other 50 people who have just been let in to wrestle over the fries and salad. The salad and fruit are always fresh and topped up, watermelon is always topped up. If you don’t want to fight at lunch there is a snack bar at 3pm at the pool bar but again you need to be waiting there as food that’s put out is limited and once it’s gone it’s gone. Dinner/teatime is again edible but very samey every night and unless you’re really into trying out there new things then we suggest leaving the hotel, which sounds mad in an all inclusive but leave the hotel, turn right the shwarma shop next door does two kebabs, four sprites for under £15. Entertainment wise , if you take your kids they’ll be entertained by the animation team who try their best with the limited things they have available, water polo is a daily game and many get involved, they also try their best with the evening shows, again it’s very warm in the summer and they try their best. With regards to the reps who sell the trips in the hotel , they will constantly offer a special price/ deal, but if you leave the hotel turn left and head towards the markets the vendors are half the price. If you are wanting to go on the pirate ship trip, I suggest the 930 trip as the afternoon one would be unbearable in the heat, be wary also of jellyfish in the sea when the ship stops as there are no warnings. Also be wary on the beach as there are many washed up in the summer. Last of all the staff, UNBELIEVABLE, cannot do more for you, amazing, they are so good, they’re overworked, one guy on the pool bar in the day but they cannot and I can’t say this enough they cannot do enough for you, they make this hotel amazing, take away the outdated room that you literally change and sleep in I would fully book this hotel again, as did the people we met there, they were there at the same time and rebooked for next year , again saying the hotel is a little run down for the money, it’s 40 degrees, the staff are amazing and the pool is the best pool you will probably ever swim in. Excellent location, excellent value for money, highly recommended

Was worried about the negative reviews but to be honest, it was fine. The hotel is in a great location with shops, restaurants/bars etc outside and opposite the beach. Hotel is clean, with staff tidying etc. Rooms are spacious, with all amenities you need. Sea view rooms are great as by tea time your balcony is in the shade. Restaurant is ok. Breakfast and lunch are your standard all inclusive. My only disappointment was evening meals, repetitive. You’ll always find something to eat but just gets boring. Entertainment staff, lifeguards, pool bar staff are great. A small tip each day gets you the best service. The pool area is massive but again sun loungers are on the grass and some people haven’t got the sense to wear flip flops so grass gets everywhere. They really do look after you. In a nut shell, it’s not the best 4 star but it’s in a great location, clean and the staff are fantastic like Tunisians in general. Would I return, most definitely. BIG negative and worth noting, the old guy who walks around selling spa treatments is pushy and doesn’t like the word no. On our last day he wouldn’t let us have a shower in the spa as we didn’t buy a treatment from him. The hotel need to get rid of him!
