We have just returned from a great week away at this hotel. We had stayed here previously so we were aware of a few issues before we returned this year. The main issues we were disappointed with this year were once again the food selections, although there was always something we could have, the choices were limited. The lack of ice cream was a major issue for us. Firstly we were told the ice cream machine was broken, then we were told they don't use a machine, they buy it in, then we were told we would get ice cream 1 day a week , which we did on the Saturday evening. To me this is a basic food item especially somewhere so hot!! Another diet drink other than coke zero would also be a welcome addition to the drinks menu. Our server in the restaurant Wajdi was brilliant, he actually remembered us from being our server from last year and always had our table set for us and always made sure our drinks were topped up. Onto the rooms, bedroom - large with plenty storage but really needed the flooring replaced. Bathroom again a good size . It stated that the towels got changed every 3 days but this wasn't the case, I think there was only 1 day out of 7 we never had fresh towels. The pool area is amazing, very big and always something going on as the entertainment team are brilliant and very friendly. Special shout out to Rami the lifeguard, such a nice guy and always on the ball to help folk find sunbeds, Rami you are the best 😃. All the staff at this hotel are brilliant and because of them and the brilliant pool area with no sunbed wars, we would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, CLEAN and comfortable, and we had a lovely pool view from our room. A special mention must go to Rathwen, the lovely barman at the pool bar. From the very first day, he made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He was such a friendly and kind gentleman, always had a smile on his face and somehow remembered our drink order every single time! As two young girls travelling in Tunisia, it was really nice to have someone who made us feel so welcome and at ease. He genuinely made our experience even better and deserves a huge thank you and PROMOTION - hint hint. The animation team also deserve a mention. They were always friendly, chatty and made an effort to get everyone involved. You could tell they were trying their best, even though I think they had quite little to work with in terms of facilities and support. They still kept a positive attitude and were lovely whenever we spoke to them. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, and the private beach was a huge bonus. The location is also fantastic, with plenty of shops nearby, so there’s lots to do and everything is conveniently located. The only real downside for us was the bathroom, which felt a little outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. We were also quite picky eaters, so we sometimes struggled with the food, and even the chips weren’t always great! That being said, there was still a decent choice and obviously food is very subjective, so this wouldn’t stop us from returning. One thing worth mentioning is the EasyJet representative. He was late to our meeting, so rather than waiting around, we decided to book a quad biking trip through the man at the hotel. We actually had a brilliant time! He wasn’t pushy at all, was really helpful, and the quad biking itself was fantastic. Unfortunately, we found the EasyJet rep quite pushy and were also told a few things that turned out not to be true, which was disappointing. In the end, we were really glad we went with the hotel option as we had such a good experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, lovely pool, private beach, great location and, of course, the wonderful staff made it a holiday we’ll remember. We would happily return!

We had an excellent time at the hotel and would book to come back again. Whilst the rooms are dated (especially the bathroom) and flooring not perfect they are spacious, clean, good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. We had a room overlooking the beach which could be noisy at night from the “main road” being directly outside. I'd brought ear plugs so was Ok with this. The hotel is spotless and staff do an excellent job keeping it clean and tidy. The main selling point of this hotel is the staff, every person we met was super friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed a problem, yes I tipped but this was not until our last day for those that stood out with their service. We stayed mid August and I expected the place to be heaving so was pleasantly surprised to find this was not the case. Tourist tax paid when you check in and you can pay on card. We were down at the pool around 11am every morning, no problem to get sunbeds. Big shout out to Rami who was always on hand to source beds if needed. Really friendly and always made time for a chat with you. Towels have a deposit of 20 TND (cash) each and you can change them daily. Inflatables are allowed in pool. Food could be repetitive but the dining room never felt too busy, tables were always available and if anything had run out staff quick to replace. Waiting staff fantastic at remembering your drinks/food order and having tables ready for you. My daughter did struggle so mainly lived on chips (French fries), bread and spaghetti which were available daily. Only gripes were no diet/zero sugar drinks and no ice cream. But we found 1l bottle coke zero at Costa Mall for 3.9 TND, and an amazing gelato shop at the marina (on the side of Le Mistral restaurant) , huge scoop on waffle cone 4.5 TND. Costa Mall and Maxi Centre are great for stocking up on snacks and sweets if needed. Also in the evening there is a guy out the front of the hotel selling nuts 5 TND for a small bag, they are delicious. They have post breakfast snacks by the pool bar (croissants etc) and then again mid afternoon (toasted sandwiches, Crepes, pizza, watermelon). Not an extensive cocktail menu (maybe 6 if i remember) i found the orange based ones tasted “watery” so stuck to the pina collada. Only other alcohol i had was the rose wine and this was really nice. WiFi wasn't so great in our room but great in the main areas of the hotel and also around the pool. Animation team were good fun, a good balance between asking you to get involved but also respecting “no thanks” for an answer. The same with spa and excursions sellers, they came around but weren't relentless in getting a sale. Evening entertainment had a mini disco for young kids and then a later evening show starting around 9.45/10pm. They also had a white night while we were there if you wanted to plan an outfit for this. We waited until we were at the hotel to change money and only changed enough for tips and paying in small local shops. It was a good exchange rate. Otherwise I used card to pay. The hotel is very central to the area and easily walkable to marina and Carthage Land theme park. Lots going on outside, shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty fixed price shops if you don't want to haggle. I found leaving hotel from back gate meant you could avoid most of the haggling shops or if going outside the front of the hotel cross over road to beach side. It was so hot when we went 37, so spent most time in the pool and air conditioned areas!

Some bits good some bits bad! Late arrival forgot to put our bands on had to ask also the bar had stopped serving all inclusive drinks and tried to charge us after 10pm arrived after that time Room spacious and sea view was a bonus flooring was the biggest let down but didn’t really effect our stay (see picture) towels are only changed every 3 days and bedding every 7 days cleaners emptied bins and mopped floors everyday bring your own kettle as not supplied in room Pool/sun loungers Pool is lovely no fighting for sun loungers came down around 9/10am each morning and no issue Sun loungers are on a grass/dusty area and there are lots of ants make sure to put drinks on a table Entertainment around pool was varied and none pushy to join in Deposit is required for towels to be used by pool and beach Food/ drinks Lovely fresh omelette/egg station every morning and fresh pastries and juice Lunch and tea very repetitive as all all inclusive buffets are food was never hot especially the pizza and pasta although apparently freshly cooked in front of you ! Lovely waiter had a table and the drinks we liked each evening ready for us to Top tip take a cup for drinks as the cups from bar are small and the bar is happy to fill them up The excursion and spa guy are far to pushy sat by the lift area and a little bit over priced top tip tell them you have already booked we used get your guide so we knew how much we were spending and had a phone number incase of needing to get in contact Spa was lovely and massage was good haggled with the price until we were happy No late check out used the spa to freshen up with a shower -big mistake as shower and changing room in the sauna was wetter and hotter than when we went in! The shops out the front of hotel are pushy to get you in to them and more expensive if you want good prices without the haggle/ hassle go out the back of the hotel and visit the fixed price markets
