Was worried about the negative reviews but to be honest, it was fine. The hotel is in a great location with shops, restaurants/bars etc outside and opposite the beach. Hotel is clean, with staff tidying etc. Rooms are spacious, with all amenities you need. Sea view rooms are great as by tea time your balcony is in the shade. Restaurant is ok. Breakfast and lunch are your standard all inclusive. My only disappointment was evening meals, repetitive. You’ll always find something to eat but just gets boring. Entertainment staff, lifeguards, pool bar staff are great. A small tip each day gets you the best service. The pool area is massive but again sun loungers are on the grass and some people haven’t got the sense to wear flip flops so grass gets everywhere. They really do look after you. In a nut shell, it’s not the best 4 star but it’s in a great location, clean and the staff are fantastic like Tunisians in general. Would I return, most definitely. BIG negative and worth noting, the old guy who walks around selling spa treatments is pushy and doesn’t like the word no. On our last day he wouldn’t let us have a shower in the spa as we didn’t buy a treatment from him. The hotel need to get rid of him!

Time for an honest review of this hotel. To start with I think the four star rating has the possibility of misleading people setting them up with high expectations, it has to be borne in mind that the four star rating of a European hotel doesn't always translate to the same expectations elsewhere in the world, this is not a four star European hotel, yes it has very good facilities but its a good 3 star at best. Firstly the rooms, they are clean, large and fully equipped but they are tired and have been spruced up to make them perfectly nice but not amazing. Bear in mind that this is a 1990's built hotel. Then comes the food, there are as people who have done all inclusive know the main stay dishes that come out at every meal, these are perfectly nice and yes the temperature of serving varies but remember they are being served on mass, if you want it hot arrive as soon as the first meal sitting opens. There are two fresh cooked stations in the dining halls, of note is the breakfast omelette fresh cooked with fresh ingredients, at lunch and dinner these cook fresh beef or Chicken or Prawns, there is sometimes a theme such as Tunisian night. Drinks are locally supplied, the beer is lager there's also wines and spirits together with soft drinks, a limited range of cocktails are also available. The pool area is vast, sunbeds are plenty ,but as is the norm get yourself out and put towels on one by 8am for the best positions pool side. There are a few companies trying to sell you photos, spa days and pirate ship tours in the atrium in the hotel, they are persistent but hold your ground if you dont want this experience and say no thank you. And then comes the real cherry on the cake - the staff, they are fantastic and work extremely hard and will go the extra mile if you are pleasant and pass the time of day and smile. Tunisian wages are very small compared with Europe a tip is greatfully received, I tipped 20 Dinar (£5) to around 5 of the staff I saw regularly and they very much appreciated the gesture. Outside the front of the hotel in particular from circa 9pm until circa 2am street trade stalls are out, these people are very very persistent and try to get you to go in and look at their goods, once inside its very easy to over pay for goods as the barrage of sales pater is very quick and fast. My advice is turn left out of the hotel keep going until to get to a roundabout there on the left you will find the MAXI center with all the goods you will need under one roof - water here is cheapest around - £2.50 for 6x 1L bottles. On the subject of the street sellers, in some resorts and area called the strip is common and it usually contains shops street sellers etc, this area is on the road/pavement that runs the length of the beach road which means that between circa 9pm and up to 3am the street comes alive - BUT this means if you have an idyllic sea view room expect to need ear plugs if you like I need your bed at 11pm. Overall this is a good hotel which has good facilities, fantastic staff and does its best to accommodate holiday makers on mass, given the buildings age it truly represents a good experience at a reasonable cost. Given that we have booked to come next year (2027)
