Excellent service. Best reception ever!

I spent my birthday week (June 8–13) at Diamonds Bijoux in Bwejuu, traveling solo, and I just cannot shake the feeling of just how wonderful an experience it was. Yes, the property is beautiful — the beach, the design, the rooms, the common areas, bars and restaurant — all of it is understated, elegant, and thoughtfully done. You feel the luxury, but it is never loud. I loved having three pools to choose from (the quiet one became my spot), and the spa, gym, and upcoming additions — a wine bar, cigar lounge, Asian fusion restaurant, and grill — show just how much intention is going into the experience. But what truly stayed with me was the people. Mary from Guest Relations set the tone from the start — warm, present, and genuinely caring. At the front office, Adam, Schola, and Martin were consistently kind and efficient. The porters, including Khamit and a Kenyan brother from Maragoli, brought such warmth and personality. And the F&B team - including the Management who were present every day? Incredible. Oscar, Brenda, Benji, Yacinta, Alex — along with the chefs and kitchen team — delivered not just great food, but care in every interaction. I never once felt like I was traveling alone. I felt seen, looked after, and quietly celebrated. Bijoux is a beautiful place, yes — but it is the people who make it unforgettable. I’ll be back. 💛 Additional Notes Be sure to visit Paje. My hotel experience was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Gloria, Oscar, Adebe, and Schola for their kindness, warmth, and outstanding service. They truly made our experience memorable. My stay at Bijoux Diamonds in Zanzibar was truly a memorable experience. The location was beautiful, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the hospitality made the stay even more special. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was comfortable from start to finish. A perfect place to relax, enjoy the island vibes, and create great memories. I would happily recommend it.
