Hotel Gran Melia Palacio de Isora

Hotel sam o sobe je nadherny. Zvenku, uvnitr, atrium, zahrady, bazeny, ta nejvic top bufetova restaurace, i vetsina cisniku a lide z recepce jsou mili, krasne to vsude voni ... ALE? Na 5* spousta nedotazeni. I kdyz ma clovek plnou penzi a dokoupi si napoje na den “bez omezeni” za nemale penize, ceka trapne jak pitomec, nez si ho nekdo na baru vsimne a pak jeste musi podepisovat ucty.., to neni normalni. Malem jsme kolikrat v tom horku umreli zizni a to si sli jen pro vody! Nealko, nebo aspon vody, by mely byt volne kdykoliv pristupne a ne na objednavani! Uklid pokoju - u nas tragedie. 5dni jsme cekali na vylesteni zrcadel od neciho cela, ze srandy do nej kremem udelali i oci a nos. Vymena rucniku az po 3dnech, kdy jsme si o to vylozene rekli, pak prevlekla i postele, jinak by nic nebylo. Hlavni bufet restaurace - uzasna!!! Jen ty cekacky u vchodu dosti ponizujici. Ale resi to moznost objednani terasy na cas, coz je skvele a vyuzivali jsme. Sushi restaurace = tragedie! Cekali jsme 1/2hodiny nez nam dali vodu, dalsich 15min na kartu, ostatni hosty dosle po nas pritom obsluhovali. Personal neprijemny, az arogantni. Jidlo chabe, se sushi x japonskymi delikatesami nema co cinit. Obdobne strasne i Osa bar na veceri. Myslim, ze je stale co u zamestnancu v takovem hotelu napravovat x je vice hlidat. Aby meli hoste opravdu pocit, ze si za sve penize patricny nadstandart uziji a nebudou mit pocit, ze jsou prehlizeni ci na obtiz. Kazdopadne - pres vse vyse napsane to byl skvely zazitek a verim, ze se nekdy opet vratime. Urcite doporucuji, ze zkusenosti z jinych hotelu na Tenerife byl tento opravdu TOP.

Hotel for Half board you dont get any drinks for your dinner but we payed £2000 Each i cant Fault the hotel but entertaintment 7.30pm kids disco then a solo singer at 9.30pm till 10.45 pm or a show but its poor for a 5 star hotel Buffet is good at breakfast not so good at dinner to go to outher restraunts booking on App is not working they should change this let reception book for you because everyone is complaining they can not eat in diffrient restaunts the infinity salt pool is warm the kids pool is warm so nice i had a good holiday very disspointed entertaiment depressing

We stayed here as a family holiday had a great time, and it is a lovely hotel, however there are a few issues It has literally nothing around it just one supermarket. it’s a €30 each way cab journey to the Costa Adeje so that would probably stop us coming back as there is nothing there to venture out and do The rooms were fine although with one of our rooms the air con started leaking in the night causing one of the party to nearly slip over The food was good and a point I would like to make is a few in the party require gluten free and every night they had a lot to choose from so we couldn’t fault the hotel at all there. One thing annoying about the restaurant is the flies they are everywhere (not the hotels fault). We went to Oasis bar for dinner one night the food was vile so I’d stick to the buffet The service I couldn’t fault all the staff was very friendly and could understand English Night time entertainment was very good and very good for kids entertainment we also liked the DJ nights on the sunset bar. Noise level was just normal no complaints from me for that To end my review if the flies problem weren’t as bad as it is and the location was different we would be back

This was our second time at Gran Meliá. We were not disappointed. We opted for the RedLevel all inclusive and had a fabulous week, being well looked after by attentive staff in clean, well ordered rooms. The RedLevel pool area was never too busy, and we were particularly grateful for Angel who looked after us well with drinks - as a non alcohol drinker, was impressed with the wide range of non alcoholic cocktails. We ate in a different restaurant every night, and while the quality varied, there were some lovely meals. We paid extra (although with a 30% discount) to eat at the Entrecielos rooftop restaurant - this was more than worth it. I think we will be back for a third visit!

The hotel in general is very nice with great rooms and pools etc. facilities are well kept and the rooms are really good and very spacious. However there’s a few issues which brought the experience down. Food is average, verging on bad. Buffet has very strange options and doesn’t change much through the week. Restaurants for dinner are pretty bad and we didn’t bother with the ones that you have to pay extra for. Bit annoying that a lot of the hotel features are charged as extras, when you’ve already forked out a few thousand pounds for the week you expect to be able to try everything the hotel has to offer. Charging extra to go to a certain restaurant is very bad in my opinion. Drinks service throughout the hotel wasn’t great, hard to get a drink by the pool without having to walk to the bar yourself and even then staff serve the drinks in whatever cup they can find to hand, I had a beer in a wine glass, a paper cup, a 250ml plastic cup etc. all charged at the same price bizarrely. Drinks with dinner were never once offered, had to flag a very busy waiter down every time. Have stayed in other 5 stars in the same price bracket and this hotel just doesn’t match its competitors unfortunately.
