We stayed at Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora from 26–30 June 2026 as a group of three—my cousin, my 16-year-old daughter, and I. The property itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the atmosphere is relaxing, and considering the quality of the resort, we found the room rate to be quite reasonable. One of the biggest highlights is **Europe's largest seawater infinity pool (270 metres)**, which is simply spectacular and a real standout feature of the hotel. We booked a **RedLevel Suite**, which was spacious, elegant and very comfortable. However, for the premium we paid, we were disappointed with the view. Although it was marketed as a partial sea view, around 60% of what we actually saw was the parking area. This certainly didn't feel like the RedLevel experience we were expecting. The bathroom was large and well-designed, but the shower was surprisingly poor. Every time we showered, water flooded onto the bathroom floor, meaning we had to wipe it up ourselves after each use. For a luxury resort, this was disappointing. The **RedLevel Lounge** was one of the highlights of our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the service from the staff was consistently warm, attentive and professional. We had booked the **RedLevel All-Inclusive** package and dined at several restaurants during our stay. **Nami Asian Restaurant (À La Carte):** This was unfortunately the biggest disappointment. While the starters were enjoyable, the main courses were well below expectations. The Thai green curry tasted nothing like an authentic Thai curry—it was actually more like a yellow curry—and the chicken curry lacked flavour as well. Vegetarian options were also very limited. **Nami Teppanyaki:** Completely different experience. It was excellent from start to finish. Every dish was delicious, and the chef made the evening fun and memorable with his friendly personality and engaging cooking style. **Pangea Food Market:** A great buffet with an impressive variety of dishes. The food was consistently good and there was something for everyone. **Oasis Mediterranean Restaurant:** Unfortunately, this was another let-down. The vegetarian choices were so limited that we decided not to dine there at all. **Agave Mexican Restaurant:** Excellent. We had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh, flavourful and one of the best meals of our stay. **L'Olio Italian Restaurant:** Outstanding. The pasta, pizza, risotto and salads were all delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. This was easily one of our favourite restaurants in the resort. While we genuinely enjoyed our holiday, I do have concerns about some of the RedLevel All-Inclusive policies. On one occasion, we ordered **only bottled water** to our room and were unexpectedly charged **€30**. I had to go to reception and argue to have the charge removed. The explanation given was that if we had ordered the water through the RedLevel Lounge, it would have been complimentary—but the lounge closes at 7 pm, making this policy rather impractical and confusing. Charging premium all-inclusive guests for basic drinking water simply doesn't reflect the luxury experience the hotel advertises. Another policy that negatively affected our stay was the drinks service in the restaurants. Despite paying for the All-Inclusive package, cocktails and other alcoholic beverages are not included when dining in many of the restaurants. Guests have to leave their table, walk to a nearby bar to collect the same drink for free, and then return to continue their meal. While technically the drinks are included, this completely interrupts the dining experience and feels unnecessarily inconvenient. Some restaurants don't even offer mocktails or cocktails, making the situation even more frustrating. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and the resort has many outstanding qualities—the beautiful property, incredible swimming pool, spacious rooms, excellent RedLevel breakfast, and a few truly exceptional restaurants. However, the culinary experience is inconsistent, with some restaurants falling well below the standard expected of a luxury five-star resort. More importantly, the management should reconsider several of its RedLevel All-Inclusive policies. Guests paying a premium expect convenience and a seamless luxury experience, not confusing rules and unnecessary inconveniences. With improvements to the food quality and a more customer-friendly approach to the all-inclusive experience, Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora could easily become one of the finest resorts in Tenerife.
Hotel sam o sobe je nadherny. Zvenku, uvnitr, atrium, zahrady, bazeny, ta nejvic top bufetova restaurace, i vetsina cisniku a lide z recepce jsou mili, krasne to vsude voni ... Hlavni bufet restaurace - uzasna!!! Jen ty cekacky u vchodu dosti ponizujici. Ale resi to moznost objednani terasy na cas, coz je skvele a vyuzivali jsme. Sushi restaurace = tragedie! Cekali jsme 1/2hodiny nez nam dali vodu, dalsich 15min na kartu, ostatni hosty dosle po nas pritom obsluhovali. Personal neprijemny, az arogantni. Jidlo chabe, se sushi x japonskymi delikatesami nema co cinit. Obdobne strasne i Osa bar na veceri.
Without doubt, the best hotel on Tenerife. The facilities are outstanding, but what really sets the Palacio de Isora apart is its exceptional staff, who consistently go above and beyond to make every stay memorable. We stayed in the peaceful and luxurious RedLevel section, where the service was first class throughout. A special thank you to Denis, who kindly arranged our check-in and allocated us a superb suite. Jose was, as always, incredibly helpful, parking our car and taking care of our luggage both on arrival and departure. It was also wonderful to see Vero again, whom we have known for over six years - Vero always makes us feel so welcome and ensures we are well looked after throughout our stay - Red Level has never been in better hands. Finally, it was great to see Mohammad constantly on the move, helping guests with a smile and making sure everyone was looked after. These are the people who make the Palacio de Isora such a special place, and we are already looking forward to our next visit in September. For anyone considering a stay, there is so much to enjoy.. The lovely coastal path walks are perfect for a relaxing stroll with beautiful views.. The hotel is home to what is said to be the longest pool in Europe, which is truly impressive.. The RedLevel breakfast is simply the best, offering a fantastic start to the day.. The gym is excellent, although we didn’t make use of it on this occasion. There is plenty of daily and evening entertainment to suit all tastes, and the sunbeds are very comfortable, with lovely fluffy towels provided - the pool was a perfect temperature. Thank The Adults Red Level is the only way to go!
Rooms very very small !! Not worth half board as eating in Italian restaurant only - food poor. Pool area nice but pool dated . Roof top bar lovely but quiet . The most horrendous thing is that Wild Cats are welcome !!! As I am terrified of them - my holiday was ruined 😡 The germs that they must leave in the hotel can only be imagined. All in all we were really upset and disappointed with our holiday .
We had a wonderful week's holiday at the Gran Melia in April 2026. We really liked the bed outside the room, the number and range of swimming pools, the different restaurants and the grounds.
