Let's start with positives. The price was okay. The rooms look nice and are clean with a small fridge. The staff are helpful. The complimentary siam passes and bustop right outside of the hotel was good. Negatives are as follows. The outside entertainment is very loud if your room is on the lower floors. And its on every night. The food was not great we did not enjoy much of it. We enjoy nice food but are not snobs with it but this was okay some nights and awful others (we had full board for a week). The wifi did not work in our room for what ever reason we dont know but worked everywhere else except the area in and around our room/floor they sent a "technician" but did not sort it. There isnt much to do other than the pool and kids club at the hotel except pretty basic evening entertainment (we did not use the kids club for our 5 year old daughter) The pool situation is the same as many and people que upto one hour before it opens to get sunbeds, leave them there all day while not using it as there is no system in place (I understand many hotels are like this) tbh we will never return. It was not terrible but was not good either. If the things that bothered us are likely to bother you dont go. If you want a okay price hotel for all inclusive to enjoy sitting by the pool all day drinking while your kids play and dont really care about good food or alot of noise stopping you from getting a good night's sleep then you will be fine. This is an honest review and I understand some people will like this hotel others will not. This is just to help the ones like us who will not. Seems more of a 3 star hotel if I am honest. We have stayed in tenerife several times and this hotel is last in terms of quality.

This hotel really did impress us and was brilliant from start to finish. The decor throughout the hotel, is absolutely perfect. The rooms are perfect and a really good size. The beds are comfortable and our air con was brilliant! There is so much storage space in the rooms for clothes, which we were surprised by. The only very minor problem we had in the room was the light in the middle of the room was low and my partner walked into several times. Also the curtains opened the opposite way to the balcony door, so the curtain was always in the way if you went on the balcony. The staff at the hotel can't do enough for you, the reception staff are so helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff work so hard and try their absolute hardest to make sure everything is perfect. The entertainment team are fantastic with the children and our children really enjoyed joining in. The entertainment in the evenings could definitely be improved slightly. The pool area, is a little bit on the small side however we loved the fact you couldn't go and get a sunbed until 9:30am and we never had a problem getting them, and there was 7 of us. The food was great, however sometimes wasn't piping hot we normally didn't have a problem as we did go down to dinner slightly early. We enjoyed all the food we tried, the desserts were to die for! There was lots of choices and always something for everyone. All in all, we are already looking for next year and we will definitely be returning!

We got back yesterday as a family of two adults and two kids under 7 - we absolutely loved it. We were half board for a week. Having young kids, we were up early for breakfast and down early for dinner prior to the mini disco most nights. We laid in one morning, went down for breakfast at 9.30am and the queue was too long so we went out for a coffee and pastry - no problem! Because we were always early, we never experienced cold food, the choice was brilliant both for our slightly picky daughters and us (we’ve travelled a lot over Europe and Caribbean and this was by far the best hotel buffet for both breakfast and dinner we have had.) Yes the pool might be a bit small for the size of the hotel but we found there was plenty of beds around the pool to be found, especially if you get there around lunch time when people left to eat. The renovations they’ve done are immaculate and the hotel is beautiful - we were so impressed. The highlight for us was the entertainment team. I’ll post last weeks schedule as an example but you can tell they genuinely love their jobs. There was always something going on in the day and the evening entertainment was so good for the kiddies, we really enjoyed the white party on Sunday night! On the whole, we aren’t the type of people to return to somewhere once we’ve stayed, but we would highly reconsider for this hotel. We loved it and don’t want anyone being put off like we were prior to staying by the bad reviews!

Can honestly say this hotel has been the biggest disappointment. My husband and I came with our 1 & 5 year old for 10 days. Food - we were only bed and breakfast but have asked to be downgraded to room only as we were served raw chicken at the snack bar and mouldy butter at the breakfast buffet the next morning. We spoke to Jet 2 about moving to another hotel following this however they were incredibly unhelpful. Only positive is that the hotel guest coordinator and reception have been polite and as helpful as possible - they offered us a meal upgrade which we declined and a late check out which we accepted. Pool - far too small for the size of the hotel and not enough loungers which leads to the inevitable sun bed wars in the morning. The door outside is locked until 9.30am and people start queueing up for 45 minutes beforehand to be first out. If you do get a lounger you then have to wait until 10am for the pool to open. If you don’t get there first then you won’t find any free bed later on and the lifeguard refuses to bring spare sun loungers down from the sun terrace which no one sits on. Rooms - modernised to a nice standard but the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Cleaning of the room is a light dust and remade bed. They change the sheets every 3 days which was annoying when our children got chocolate on ours and they weren’t changed for days. Kids - the kids park is in the sun all day so the climbing frame and slide are too hot to play on. There’s only really one swing and a connect 4 game that can be used. We haven’t used the kids club so can’t comment on that. There’s table tennis but again only one and it’s usually busy. There’s two pool tables in the hotel reception area for €2 per game. There’s a sign that says games and fun pub downstairs from reception but there’s nothing there. The slides in the baby pool are good for young kids. There’s a few other niggles like the rough casting of the pool that has cut my husbands feet. You’re not allowed large inflatables in the pool. The lifts in the hotel are really small and the beading round the mirrors/carpeted walls are falling off - my kids have snagged their clothes a couple of times on the loose beading. The shop in the hotel is really small and very expensive, €5 for a bottle of water where the supermarket round the corner is €1. Ive stayed in a few melia hotels and this one is definitely not up to the usual standards. Avoid unless you are looking for a crowded hotel with poor food standards - it’s as basic as it comes.

Absolutely loved this hotel with my Family. We came with friends who also had a family of 4. So we had 4 Adults and 4 Children under 4 with us. Location was perfect and free bus to Siam Park was great. Small walk to Beech and shops. Atmosphere very good around the whole hotel and surrounding areas. Rooms very cleaned and cleaned every day to a very high standard. Value for money very good. We went half board and were very impressed. All the food was excellent and plenty of options for all the families. Drinks at dinner included a great range of soft drinks and beers as well as chilled water. Busy hotel with plenty of great noise which finished at a reasonable time. Service from reception, staff at meal times, activities, cleaning, lifeguards etc was fantastic. Pools were great for families in the small and bigger pool. Only negative I have is that being on the 9th floor the balcony and bedroom window are unsafe for small children for climbing etc. We just monitored the areas and kept kids away. No way to lock window or door to balcony. Would stay again no issues at all!
