Golden Coast Hotel & Bungalows

S pobytem v hotelu jsme byli moc spokojení. Krásné čisté moře s pozvolným vstupem je pár kroků od hotelu, což jsme s malým dítětem potřebovali. Velkou pochvalu si zaslouží animační tým. Animátorky byly úžasné, vždy usměvavé, milé a plné energie. Náš malý si je opravdu oblíbil. Každý zaměstnanec byl vždy milý a snažil se udělat maximum. Celkově jsme si dovolenou moc užili a hotel můžeme s klidným svědomím doporučit rodinám s dětmi.

Animátorka Markéta a Karolina vytvořili úžasný program pro děti a tím i chvíli odpočinku pro maminky. Hotel je krásný, destinace nádherná, klidná část ostrova.

I would like to start off by saying we did have a lovely holiday. I will start with the positives the hotel is very clean and our room was very clean our cleaner did a great job. The hotel restaurants and reception is very modern and the waiters were very attentive. We never had a problem getting sun beds by the pool or beach. If you come out the hotel via the beach and walk right after 20 minutes you will find a port with bars and restaurants which was lovely. The negatives the hotel has three swimming pools and they are all freezing in our opinion we felt for a four star one could have been heated. The food is very basic and repetitive there was no bacon at breakfast and the sausages are like hot dog sausages, dinner was repetitive mainly chicken and pork, little fish and lamb. The room was very clean but needed modernising and the double beds are singles pushed together which was annoying/uncomfortable. The drinks are not branded they are all local which for a four star you would expect better. I asked on the first day for late check out I was told to come back I came back mid way through the holiday to come back on the last day, which I did and they said the room was booked out. I feel they could have told me this the first time I asked as I feel they would have known. We had a late flight home and had to use the pool toilet shower to get ready which contained one shower which had a queue and was not the cleanest. Even though I have mentioned the negatives I wanted to be honest, but we did have a lovely holiday overall.

Hotel is seemingly a lovely place to be, food is ok, rooms are dated, drinks options are poor in the all inclusive, with premium drinks charged extra!! What really had ruined this trip for us is the cleaners stealing a necklace from our room, and only after I complained at reception and told them if it’s not replaced by the morning there would be consequences. Later that evening after tea we returned to the room to find the necklace laid out on the bed. Absolutely shocking!!! Then to make this experience even worse, while either eating breakfast, or taking our daughter to the toilets we had her armbands stolen from out sun loungers along with other pool toys that she enjoyed. So in short if you like your belongings going missing I would recommend this place.

Be very careful booking this hotel. We booked through Jet2. The bungalows are nothing like the photos. They have chipped paint, rock hard beds with hessian type bedding. There is mould in the bathroom and even an electronic socket hanging off the wall. They then took me (after complaining directly to Jet2 to another room in the main hotel. This has skirting boards hanging off the wall. Oh and the “garden view” I don’t even have the energy to mention. And the best, if you are registered disabled, we all live having a room up a flight of stairs with no lift! Please take this as an honest warning
