Ariti Grand

I wont rate this hotel as a 4*, but there is also good things on Ariti: View: Amazing spot in the island! Location: great! Staff: Dimitri (best bartender in the island!), Marieta and Panos (front desk), Nikos (kitchen chef), Giorgios (director) and a very sweet and charming Public Relations (Thalia). In general the staff of the resturant (all the waiters I cannot name them all) is amazing and very friendly! Ephraristô to all! Rooms: OK, but some bathrooms need renewal urgently! Cleaning must improve a bit. View is the best! Food: It needs to be improved as there are many friers and too much processed food. A pitty :( Recommend, but we need to improve ok?

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Checked in with my family for 3 nights and was assured the school trip that had also just checked in would be kept under control with security the hotel had brought in. First night we had teenagers running around until 3.30am, loud and disruptive. At 9am I spoke with hotel manager who gave me his word it wouldn’t happen again that night. I trusted this which was a big mistake. The teenagers that night were worse than ever. Knocking on doors, phoning the room phone, screaming and shouting down corridors. This went on till 5am and only stopped then because I physically went with security to the disruptive room. This school trip was out of control and disrespectful. The teachers accompanying had absolutely no control either. A disgrace. All the hotel staff couldn’t care less. We left the hotel on the second day and will never ever return. Terrible customer service.

The hotel did not meet the standard of a typical four-star hotel. The cleaning of the bathroom did not include washing the toilet bowl or sink. There was mold in the shower. Water leaked from a broken spot on the balcony roof, completely wetting the balcony even on days when it did not rain. There was a kettle and glasses in the room, but coffee or tea was not brought to the room not even once during the entire week. Pieces of the door frame were falling off. The swimming pool and the entire pool area were untidy. The breakfast was quite modest, the food often ran out. The staff were nice and polite.
