Ariti Grand

Just back from an 11 night stay at the ariti grand the rooms are spacious and clean although a bit dated with 2 single beds pushed together the hotel itself is very nice but for a good part of our stay the aircon wasn't working. We booked all Inc. But for the money we paid it's probably the worst all inclusive we've ever been in although the food was of decent quality it was always warm at best the so called snacks were only on for 1 hour at 4pm which consists of chicken nuggets cheese or, sausage pastry rolls ,spinach spring rolls and stale ham sandwiches every day the same. although it calls itself a family hotel there absolutely no poolside entertainment the kids aren't even allowed a ball in the pool only 2 nights of entertainment that i no of in the upstairs bar which only opens at 7 pm when the pool bar closes also only ever 1 person behind the bar at all times who frequently disappeared making it a long wait to be attended to .No toilets on main bar level and the pool bar toilets were down a steep set of steps, lights always broken in the toilet itself and wet floors making it very slippy .on the plus side the views are amazing and the staff were always friendly . But overall it felt like if you are all inclusive you were treated like second class . Although we enjoyed our stay as we were visiting relatives who live in corfu I would definitely not return to this hotel as it's completely lacking any atmosphere Sorry ariti but it wouldn't take much to make this a very good hotel but every thing seems to be centred around saving the hotel money

Our stay at Ariti Grand was nothing short of shocking. To start, our room with “Aircon” was unbearably hot and could barely sleep whilst also having so many mosquitoes in. We booked the all inclusive package and ended up spending so much more money due to the unbearable bad food. The food selection was nothing short of inedible and frankly disgusting, it seriously isn’t hard to make a simple edible buffet. The pool in the hotel is also murky and restricts any fun as doesn’t allow you to jump in (Due to it being less than 1.5m deep) and no ball games. For all inclusive too, the drinks were awful. Watered down spirits and asked “Are you all inclusive” everytime we order which clear indicates we get watered down Alcohol. We were also cut off after 5 drinks each for the day which is equivalent to about 2 shots each with their watery spirits. The staff were also rarely on the bar and took ages to get drinks and often rude when we asked for drinks or at reception a short hair blonde lady when we asked for help with a taxi to the airport and said we only have €20 euro what is the best option was told “This is not my responsibility” in a rude manner. I would absolutely never book this place or recommended it to anyone. Awful place and do not recommend despite good reviews.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! This is nowhere near a 4 star hotel!!!! Where do I even start? The food is inedible, they don’t even have basic food like chips, at the pool bar there is a payable menu which we had to get because of how hungry we were and the food was decent. This shows there capable of making decent food but will do it as cheap as possible for the all inclusive. The drinks are terrible, there are 4 cocktails included in the all inclusive, the rest are payable. They ask you if you’re all inclusive before making it to make sure they don’t use the nice stuff. It is watered down and tastes disgusting. Honestly didn’t drink barely any alcohol at the hotel because of how bad it was. On our last night, we wanted a few drinks and when we went up there was only one bartender with a massive queue and the bartender refused to give us drinks because he wanted us to slow down even though we had only had 3 drinks. It’s a complete scam. The staff are so unbelievably rude, give us dirty looks when we ask them something or come up to the bar, making us feel as though we’re doing something wrong. The pool is decent but very shallow, you are not allowed to jump in or play ball games. There is also not enough sunbeds to accommodate everyone. One thing we can’t fault is the cleaner who was very thorough each day with the room!

Shout out to the Guest relations staff! She did everything she could to make our stay wonderful and enjoyable! We had our birthday and she organised a lot of things such as balloons in our room, a glass of wine and even a free dinner! We were all so happy but sadly after dinner I had a stomach ache.. maybe it was the yogurt that I ate as I am lactose intolerant but still ate it ( I also ate pasta with red sauce and a slice of bread) as there were not a lot of options to my liking. The cleaning staff is excellent as the place is spotless!! Very clean overall The breakfast was delicious! Especially the fresh pancakes!! I expected a double bed but I think that every room had two small separate beds next to each other, but that was not a problem anyway. The pool looked nice but we didn’t get in as we didn’t have the time to. A big THANK YOU to the receptionist that organised our breakfasts in bags to have them with us as we were traveling back early in the morning even before breakfast time! One thing I would change is the bath in the bathroom as it is a bit difficult to get in (I’m so used to walk-in showers that I almost fell while trying to get in the bath😂). Replacing it with walk in showers will totally be a HUGE improvement! Right outside the hotel is a bus station where you can go to the center with just €1.30!! ( get the tickets from the kiosk next to the hotel) Great hotel overall with friendly staff that make the hotel even better! We are happy with our stay and we hope to come back soon!! :)
