Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites

We arrived July nice hotel staff great but unfortunately food lets it down cold no matter what time u go breakfast lunch dinner In buffet spoke to customer relations spoke with head chef promised we will do better 3 days later still the same not 5 stars .

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Cabana Blu hotel. I will try and offer a balanced review on our time there: Good: * Holiday started out badly as Easyjet left my luggage in Manchester. Pola on the front desk was amazing at chasing this up for me. She is a credit to the hotel. The bar staff are also great and pretty friendly. * Hotel was modern and stylishly decorated. I liked that the light switches in the rooms told you which buttons did what. * Bed and pillows were really comfy, probably some of the best we've experienced abroad. * Room cleaned daily. * We liked that you could use the adults only pool even though we were booked into the Blu side. Pool loungers were great - very comfortable. * Location of hotel was excellent - perfect for bars, restaurants and beach. Not so great: * Pool towels could only be changed every 2 days - they were strict on this. * Wine on the AI wasn't great - the rose was just about drinkable but the red was awful. Tasted very watered down. Can't comment on the white. * Not a great selection of drinks overall on the menu. For example, there was no dark rum unless you bought it from the premium section of the menu. There were only a handful of cocktails as well included in AI. * Dress code in the restaurants is inconsistent. I was asked to get changed when I went for lunch in a semi-sheer pool cover up, which I was fine with, but another woman wearing similar was allowed to stay. A lady also rocked up for breakfast in what could only be described as a negligee and nothing was said to her either. Keep the rule the same for all or don't enforce it. * One morning at breakfast, there was a massive black hair on the fried eggs, really put me off to the point we hardly ate at the hotel after this. None of the food was covered up apart from the hot items and there were a fair few flies. The food quality, apart from the a la carte (Mediterranean) was not great we felt although the selection was plentiful. * You need to pay for drinks in the a la carte and you can't take them in with you. * Sink not in the bathroom which was odd. * Not much storage space in the rooms. * Noise carries massively in the hotel. * We were woken up at 3.30am one night by a drunk couple using their hot tub below us and being extremely noisy, after a bit we rang reception to complain only to be told it was because they were drunk and reception would "bear it in mind". This noise continued until 4.30am. Overall, a nice week's stay but I don't think I'd recommend it to others especially as we paid for AI and didn't really end up using it. Probably cheaper and just as nice places to stay where you can go enjoy the plethora of amazing bars and restaurants on the front.

My experience at the Cabana Blu hotels spa was amazing. From the moment I met Georgia round the pool to the moment I left the spa a few days later was excellent. Georgia was so welcoming and lovely upon meeting her around the pool when she was welcoming guests and offering 2 minute demonstration massages. Before the demonstration even began I knew I was going to book into the spa. The demonstration massage was lovely and relaxed me instantly. I quickly booked in for a 40 minute back neck and shoulders massage. Upon arrival to the spa Georgia was again so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. The whole massage was just amazing, I felt so relaxed throughout and Georgia had worked on exactly what I wanted. I feel so relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of my holiday. I would 100% recommended booking in during your stay!!

Our stay at Cabana Blu Hotel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and perfectly located right across from the beach. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff. A special thank you to Vivi, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made such a difference. The rest of the team was equally warm, attentive, and always happy to help, creating such a friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. The food was outstanding with plenty of delicious options & the drinks were expertly made. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that the team takes great pride in providing an exceptional guest experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will absolutely be recommending Cabana Blu to anyone visiting Kos.

Excellent Location with access to beach within 50m. Rooms -Well appointed with all the lights controllled by the bedside .Big showers And very nice Bohemian decor . Space for hanging is a little sparse . Although the twin rooms were bigger Pool - Adults very chilled vibe with extremely comfy loungers . Bar areas close by for that all important drink!! Staff -Amazing from the front desk down to the cleaners.Best hospitality I’ve experienced while travelling. Food -3 Themed restaurants and 1 Buffet Asian was very good , Mediterranean had better .Greek didn’t try as missed booking . Buffet good selection each night and well presented . Salads were amazing. Only drawback was the charging for drinks in the Themed Rest, considering already All inclusive . Bars closed at 11pm although you can drink after for your own account . Entertainment - Greek Zorba was uplifting and everyone joined in the Greek dancing Didn’t see much else due to World Cup . I would recommend this Hotel as it ticks lots of boxes . Next time I think I will try the self catering route as too many wonderful Restaurants to try locally . Overall a Big thumbs up for the Cabana Blue and Kardemena
