Irina Beach Hotel

The hotel complex is so nice. Just the right size for the amount of guests. You don't need to worry about getting a sunbed (even in peak season). We loved being able to pop in the sea and shower off before going back in the pool. Sea View room is worth it. We were on the ground floor and I reckon we were about 20 big steps to the beach from our balcony! The sunsets really were breathtaking. Rooms are spacious and clean with sufficient storage. The guy that maintains the ground does a fantastic job. He works so hard and the pool area is always spotless despite being right next to a beach. The weather was a bit windy when we visited (late July) this gave us some great waves in the sea, cooled us down and kep the mozzies at bay so did not bother us. The only negative was that it was a bit of a walk to everywhere... though that was why it was so lovely and quiet so I suppose you can't have it both ways! We hired bikes for a couple of days to get around and the bus service was very good to Tigaki and Kos Town. You can hire a car through the hotel which would be a good idea if you like to get around and do things but we were told by reception that the taxis are unreliable! The hotel up the road has a small shop with basics, but it would be good if Irina had a small shop for essentials as it's a long way to carry back water. The bar and restaurant are good but drinks are not cheap... about 5.5 euros for a beer/wine 10/11 euros for a cocktail. We had breakfast which was sufficient and ate at the hotel about 6 out of 14 nights (because there were very few/no alternatives within walking distance). Fortunately the hotel restaurant was reliably good and reasonably priced but due to my own fussiness I was limited to only a few options. I did look to book for next year as we were that impressed but couldn't see any dates on Jet2 or direct through the hotel. Would definitely visit again.

Location out of main strip, short bus ride to main strip. Bus timetable in reception or, reception will book a taxi. Nearest supermarket 10 minutes walk. We requested a shower stool, a brand new one was provided. Breakfast was fantastic, good choice every day. Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were modern, clean and room service every day. Level access shower. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool, no need to put towels down early. Direct access to the beach. Can't praise this hotel and staff enough.

Where to start? Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who was so lovely, we were shown to our room, which was on the upper floor overlooking the sea and pool, we had arrived at about 10pm so could not see the view properly, the room was perfect and very clean and modern, upon waking in our first morning and opening the balcony door, my reaction was WOW, waking up to the veiw for the next 2 weeks was like a dream, all staff were absolutely fantastic, professional and polite and could not do enough for you. The pool bar during the day was superb and very relaxing, Valentino makes the best Mudslides 👌 Food at bar was fantastic as in the main restaurant on an evening, also very reasonably priced for an hotel. We are leaving tomorrow with some wonderfull memories and a heavy heart ❤️ We will definitely return to this bit of pradise 😊🥰

Just returned from a 10 day holiday and had a fantastic time. The hotel was above our expectations. The beach is amazing. Tea and sugar provided with a fridge and small freezer inside. From the cleaning staff, receptionist, waiting staff, bar staff, pool bar staff, owners and their son they all made our holiday along with Keira the dog a memorable one. The hotel is really clean and tidy with ample seating and loungers which are also on the beach. Air conditioning free. Towels changed every 2 days and room cleaned every day. Food exceptional at the pool side and restaurant and drinks all served with a smile. Breakfast was okay they try to cater for everyone, but some days was odd having potato gratin and tomato pasta! There is a bus service just down the road turning right then on your left less than 2 minute walk 2euros each to Tigaki centre taking 10 mins approx or 2.50euros to Kos Town taking 30 mins approx. Walking will take 30 mins approx, but a slightly busy road with care needed if have young children. The 'yellow' supermarket has everything inc fresh bread and fruit and cheap water well worth going. The hotel can book taxis, arrange trips and arrange bike hire (worth doing). We will definitely return one day its an amazing hotel.

Travelled with my 16-year-old daughter this place will hold a place in my heart forever there is just something special about this hotel. It’s peaceful nobody rushes to put their towels on the sunbeds. People are so friendly - we met some wonderful fun people - and the hotel is run exceptionally well - special mention to Nana on reception and managing the hotel. She is absolutely awesome. we were worried about the distance to the supermarket and Tigaki however we didn’t need to be as we hired bikes from Mr Manolis who delivered them to the hotel. In addition you can get a bus one minute walk from the hotel which is only €2 and it absolutely on time every time in our experience.kos is a definite visit as it’s beautiful. Cleaner is fantastic. The food at the hotel was great and reasonably priced the service from all is exceptional and they really want to know if you are happy with the service and the food which is home-made, Julia works tirelessly . the sea is right to the pool and the pool is not overcrowded. It’s just beautiful I think maybe this hotel has soul which is a rare find. They all care. The air con was fab and Keira the dog hangs out without bothering anyone but is just a beautiful family member. We stayed in a Seaview triple room and it was just the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I if I could go back tomorrow I would as I miss it already and so does my daughter. Thank you to everyone at the Irina .Beach hotel love Claire and Layla room 18.
