Irina Beach Hotel

Spent a week at the Irina Beach and very happy with the time we were there. Location is out of Tingaki about 20 mins walk along the coast road to the centre with bars and tavernas so if you want to be in the action this isn’t the hotel for you. Bus stop is round the corner and it’s fine but bus can get busy too Nearest supermarket also 10 mins walk along the coast road for essentials. Hotel itself is lovely by the beach and ok it’s basic but this doesn’t matter as pool area is spotless and plenty of sunbeds by pool and on beach. We had a ground floor sea view room which had double and single bed. A bit dark but view was worth it and it had fridge and shower worked well. Bring mozzie spray/repellant you’ll need it. Breakfast was adequate with eggs omelette choice of cereals and yogurt so enough to put you on for the day. We ate in the evening once and at lunchtime and again food was fine good size portions. Staff all lovely and happy to help my husband practice his Greek. Would recommend if you want to chill and are willing to be away from the action as the view of the sea from the pool is worth it !

We have had a lovely week here. Location-out from the centre which we appreciated and access to the bus at small cost. Pool and surrounds lovely. The 2 bar guys are a credit to thw hotel-work really hard and very friendly (thank you). Room was quiet and adequate foe qhat we needed. Few small things-the wet room didn't drain well so constantly wet and pools of water. Stlish sink, but shallow and with string water tap,always git soaked when putting tap on. The 2 ladies on reception were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast as per other reviews was adequate. Shame about the lady who works breakfast-not very friendly, despite us trying. I would recommend this hotel if you want something a bit quieter, friendly staff, not a souless chain. Kos is beautiful too. Thanks for a great week.

Wow wow This hotel 3 stars? No , thats better than all the 5 stars hotels i was in kos The view ,the pool, the sea, the staff is all expetional and will not forget the sweet dog that youl will fall in love with after you see it The best hotel in kos i ever been and i was in kos 7 times

The hotel complex is so nice. Just the right size for the amount of guests. You don't need to worry about getting a sunbed (even in peak season). We loved being able to pop in the sea and shower off before going back in the pool. Sea View room is worth it. We were on the ground floor and I reckon we were about 20 big steps to the beach from our balcony! The sunsets really were breathtaking. Rooms are spacious and clean with sufficient storage. The guy that maintains the ground does a fantastic job. He works so hard and the pool area is always spotless despite being right next to a beach. The weather was a bit windy when we visited (late July) this gave us some great waves in the sea, cooled us down and kep the mozzies at bay so did not bother us. The only negative was that it was a bit of a walk to everywhere... though that was why it was so lovely and quiet so I suppose you can't have it both ways! We hired bikes for a couple of days to get around and the bus service was very good to Tigaki and Kos Town. You can hire a car through the hotel which would be a good idea if you like to get around and do things but we were told by reception that the taxis are unreliable! The hotel up the road has a small shop with basics, but it would be good if Irina had a small shop for essentials as it's a long way to carry back water. The bar and restaurant are good but drinks are not cheap... about 5.5 euros for a beer/wine 10/11 euros for a cocktail. We had breakfast which was sufficient and ate at the hotel about 6 out of 14 nights (because there were very few/no alternatives within walking distance). Fortunately the hotel restaurant was reliably good and reasonably priced but due to my own fussiness I was limited to only a few options. I did look to book for next year as we were that impressed but couldn't see any dates on Jet2 or direct through the hotel. Would definitely visit again.

Location out of main strip, short bus ride to main strip. Bus timetable in reception or, reception will book a taxi. Nearest supermarket 10 minutes walk. We requested a shower stool, a brand new one was provided. Breakfast was fantastic, good choice every day. Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were modern, clean and room service every day. Level access shower. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool, no need to put towels down early. Direct access to the beach. Can't praise this hotel and staff enough.
