The staff was nice, close to the sea, terrible view and even worse bathroom. First of all the bathroom we had was not in the pictures. When we arrived we asked to change rooms but we didn't get it, even when we tried to upgrade. When we showered the whole bathroom got wet because the shower head was leaking. Very small and nasty bathrooms. We were a group of 12 who had a total of 6 hotel rooms with bathrooms that were not in the pictures.

Never in my life have i been so disappointed with a hotel stay. My friends and i were so excited to stay here - the photos of the hotel online looked fabulous. We couldn’t have been more wrong. When we arrived in our room we were shocked as to why it looked nothing like the photos. We had a dingy balcony with a view of a wall, a damp smelling room, mould growing on the wall, and a prison cell looking bathroom. It’s safe to say we were catfished! We all sent the photos to our families and they were all appalled. We immediately went to complain to the staff and showed the photos we had seen online in comparison to what we had. We tried to remain polite and express our disappointment considering we had been so excited beforehand. At first they tried to defend themselves and say they try to show a variety of our type of room on the website, however ours was definitely not one shown. As for the mould she said staff come in and check/clean it for safety, however I don’t believe any hotel guest should be paying to have mould in their bathroom let alone BEDROOM. Thankfully, they were quite accommodating when we asked for some kind of compensation, offering us a new room from the following day. The new room is much more spacious, with a better view and no mould however the WiFi doesn’t work at all and our bathroom is a small wet room so water goes everywhere leaving the toilet floor soaking wet. We also had to complain again as our new room hadn’t been cleaned by our third day in it, our small bin was overflowing and towels hadn’t been replaced. Furthermore, the hotel pool has hardly any sunbeds in comparison with the amount of guests staying. And the outdoor fitness area is hardly a gym. One thing i will say is that we did enjoy our breakfast and this was probably the only highlight of our stay. I personally wouldn’t recommended staying here and am shocked by how many positive reviews this hotel has.

One week as a couple in our 40’s bed&breakfast. Breakfast standard fayre. Good beach side location. Rooms clean, staff friendly. For 147 rooms there are only 24 sun beds (no parasols) and the sun doesn’t appear across the whole area until after 2pm. So don’t come to this hotel if you want to sunbathe at the pool. You need to go to the beach which is WINDY! And costs €20 per day for 2 sun beds and a parasol. Note: “free sun beds” aren’t free as advertised along the beach. Lovely walk into the old town where you’re never bored and you won’t go hungry. And don’t come to Rhodes if you don’t like cats. Fortunately we love them. They’re everywhere!

This was a trip for myself and my daughter following her exams. We arrived at the hotel late and check-in was smooth. We were on the fifth floor with a Seaview overlooking the pool. The room itself was fine. Bath robes, slippers, kettle, fridge, no freezer compartment, two bottles of water inside, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, albeit nice to have them provided, but they were not pleasant smelling products. On arrival we had a broken side table lamp, this was reported to reception three times however never fixed so I ended up taking the table lamp to reception to get it resolved so my daughter could read. Maintenance did come to my room for an unknown reason on day 3 and left their drill on my bedside table. In our particular room we had nowhere to hang our wet swimwear or beach towels however I did notice the other rooms had two silver bars either side of the balcony for hanging. This was really annoying as we had stuff draped everywhere. The wardrobe is open and there is nowhere to hang long dresses, they had to drape over the safe. The beds were great albeit high. The room was cleaned daily and the towels replaced if required. The air-conditioning was fantastic too. We were bed and breakfast with complimentary half board. Breakfast offered a fabulous variety of hot and cold food however with most of these hotels, the plates are cold and the food in the bainmarie is just about warm so you have to eat very quickly, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, beans, sausage, peas, sweetcorn, potato choice, mushrooms, tomatoes with garlic cheese on. There was also a huge variety of pastries, unfortunately soggy in Bain Marie’s, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham. The coffee machine was fantastic with free flowing cappuccinos, lattes. We did have dinner once in the restaurant but again with cold plates & lukewarm food. The night we visited my daughter referred to it as similar to a nursing home, no atmosphere, no music, not to be repeated. During our stay, there were a lot of teenagers staying there and the noise after midnight through until 4am was really quite bad, talking and banging doors. The bedroom door onto the hallway is really quite thin and certainly not soundproofed!! I think this might have been the time of year (students) and hopefully won’t be so bad July/August. There was definitely not enough sunbeds around the pool and unfortunately the evening entertainment was poorly supported, this may be due to the amount of youngsters staying and visiting the local “bar street”. Overall, the Hotel was very nice and the staff on reception were very pleasant. I would stay here again. We went to the beach in front of the hotel most days, 25euros for 2 beds & a brolly. The wind on the beach got so bad that we had to cut our days short. The sea was exceptionally rough and the undercurrent quite dangerous, it most definitely isn’t a stroll into the water as it drops very deep, very quick and certainly there were no small children in the water, sea shoes highly recommended. This whole side of Rhodes is extremely windy, going out of an evening was pointless doing your hair as you ended up looking like you were in a wind turbine, however if you walk round to the other side of the island near Rhodes town, there was little to no wind. The area around the actual hotel is surrounded by derelict hotels which is a shame. Rhodes itself is an enormous resort with a new town with Marks & Spencer’s, McDonald’s, Zara et cetera and then the old town Rhodes is absolutely beautiful, full of street after street of Shop’s, restaurants, & history! Absolutely will visit again. The walk to the new town took about 15 minutes and then to the outer edge of the old town/marina approximately 25 to 30 minutes.

The bathroom was absolutely awful. I went to reception and explained that it was dirty, there was blood and hair on the floor, and they would not change our room. There was black scum in all parts of the shower, the bathroom floor was cracked, and the counter surface was stained. The paint is coming away from the bottom of the door frame. In the bedroom the beds were fine if a bit uncomfy, but the surfaces were stained and tired. The room we were given faced onto the road and was noisy. The pool has very very few sunbeds. The breakfast, some is ok, but a lot is tasteless. I picked up a kiwi that was so over ripe it turned to mush as soon as I tried to cut it. This really is not a four star hotel.
