Nice location close to the beach, to old town and a lot of local restaurants. All within walking distance. Nice breakfast, great staff. Easy access to busses to the airport.

We booked the Arte Hotel this year as our usual hotel was fully booked.  We were not disappointed.  The hotel was clean, had everything we needed, great choices for breakfast with a spacious layout. As with most hotels on that side of the island, the sun does not come round until the afternoon so do not stay here if you are expecting to sunbathe all day.  It is a great area as a base and to return to in the afternoon for a great selection of refreshments or snacks.  They have a lunch menu that serves nice food at reasonable prices. Only downside for me was the bathroom was a little compact, other than that would happily revisit this hotel. There is some entertainment on Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night and Monday night.  If your room overlooks the pool area, don’t expect to get to bed early on these nights, take some ear plugs if needed.  We had a partial sea view room and were pleasantly surprised to have more sea view than we were expecting with a great view of the sunset.

Me and my husband have just returned from a 3 night break here, we are both currently back at home with norovirus. I mean the hotel may not be to blame but it wasn’t the cleanest, they didn’t seem to use any spray when cleaning just a wet wipe on all the tables. The cleaners did our room in a fashion they changed the towels and made the bed but never cleaned the floors. We went bed and breakfast but honestly only book breakfast if you want some toast, it was the worst breakfast we’ve ever had everything was stone cold. Luckily we had a newly renovated room it was ok for what we wanted as we are out most of the day. The hotel is still having works done if you go down in the lift from the pool you’re are in a building site. The rugs by the pool are all ripped and the tiles as you get in the lift aren’t safe at all. The best thing about the hotel is the location we also never had any issues with the staff but this deffo isn’t you’re usual 4 star rating hotel.

We are here now and arrived yesterday and so far can't fault the place. The staff are all very friendly and our room is lovely with a nice view. The breakfast has plenty of choice and the breakfast area is very spacious. A very good lunch menu and all reasonably priced as is the bar. Can't comment on the evening meal as we are here on bed and breakfast. Plenty of restaurants nearby as is the old town which we enjoy visiting

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing, particularly when dealing with reception. The staff were not helpful or accommodating when we needed assistance. We requested a late check-out, but this was not offered. The only option presented to us was to pay €180 for use of a premium suite for just four hours, which felt excessive and unreasonable given the circumstances. During our stay, I was unwell and experiencing stomach problems, including diarrhoea. At a time when we really needed understanding and assistance, the response from reception was not reassuring or helpful. We also felt that there were additional charges for almost everything, which made the stay feel more focused on making extra money than on guest service. Furthermore, we were not informed in the brochure that lunch was unavailable, which was disappointing and should have been made clear before booking. Overall, the lack of flexibility, poor communication and repeated additional charges made this an unpleasant experience. We expected better hospitality and customer care.
