Cook's Club Ialyssos Rhodes

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, good vibe, aspiring to an Ibiza atmosphere. Breakfast good, close to small supermarket, food in the Italian and Asian restaurants was good too. Usually got a sun lounger, at our preferred pool, but not always. The beach is easy to get to and pretty good. Shout out to Gracy, he is a great bar tender. The only downside was the hotel is a bit isolated and Kolymbia limited. Would go back.

We are still at the hotel right now but we are sad to be leaving today so I thought I would write a review. We’ve had an excellent experience here and we will definitely be recommending to others. If you are looking for a hotel with fun yet relaxing vibes this is the perfect place. The food price in the hotel is good value as portion sizes are very generous. We were also celebrating my boyfriends birthday and received a bottle of wine upon arriving. Also if your a cat lover you will meet a lot of furry friends around the hotel.

Such a lovely hotel! Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We were two friends travelling together and mid 40’s so thought we would be the oldest there, but whilst it is primarily younger couples / friends there we didn’t feel old. The food is fantastic and the lunch / dinner meals were reasonably priced with massive portions! No issues with sun beds, it got busy in the afternoon but always options (sun beds or bean bags). There are tavernas around and beach (pebbly) is about 10/15 min walk away. If you’re looking for a big nightlife then be prepared to get a taxi to Rhodes town (about €25).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at cooks club Ialysos, the hotel was very clean the whole stay and the food was lovely. Breakfast has got everything you need and the lunch menu has a lot of options. Our cleaner Simona was amazing and didn’t go a day without saying hello and asking how we are. She kept our room very clean and refreshed. The hotel itself is a little bit out the way and there’s not much round it and there wasn’t anywhere relatively close to get basic things such as cases of water and sun cream if you run out other than the hotel shop which was extortionate. All round I think the hotel is lovely.

I’ve really enjoyed staying here, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly especially the ones on the bar and in the restaurant, the food in the restaurant is outstanding, the breakfast selection has a wide variety along with the snack menu at the pool bar. The pool bar is lovely on an evening we went there most nights for a drink before and after our evening meal the cocktails are very nice too. The room was very nice, the bed was very comfy too, however the balcony chairs are not the most comfortable but they did the job. The pool is lovely and the sun-beds are very comfortable, there’s always some available upon til midday too so no rush to get up to get them but some are not in the sun for very long. The DJ day is good we was there for 2 of them and we enjoyed it, there’s also sometimes a DJ in the night too. There is a shop in the hotel which is helpful we found it quite expensive tho so i recommend going to ‘mini market’ about 5-10 mins walk away. It is slightly out the way but taxis can be ordered from reception and there’s a bus stop at the bottom of the road which bus’s come regularly. We stayed for 10 nights and restaurants wise we found a few very nice ones which were Cavo Italiano, kostas village taverna, Pezouli (these are about a 25 min walk from the hotel) then il borgo in the old town is lovely then of course the hotel food and we ate here twice and out of all the meals we had we enjoyed it the most. I also recommend amalfi coast beach bar we went here for the day as the sunbeds are free if you get food there and the food is good too. We will definitely be back soon!
