Doryssa Lithos

Lovely hotel very quiet peaceful and relaxing rooms very clean but on small side but would recommend booking room with sea view as it is a beautiful view . The pool bar is nice snacks and drinks ok staff really nice the young man that worked there most days was brilliant worked so hard and also made great effort to make sure everything was ok . The pool is lovely beds are great view great never had a problem with getting a bed always plenty available any time of day , the only down side with pool is the steps are very slippery and no sign we did see a few people fall . This is one of the friendliest hotels we have stayed in from greeting you at reception to cleaners and bar staff .

Loved the hotel friendly staff very clean stunning sea view but sadly we came back to our room one afternoon and couldn’t get into our safe the receptionist came and opened it for us and we reset the code.later that evening when we where going out we realised we had 200 euros missing from our safe ,after talking to other guests they too had a similar problem.such a shame as the place is so nice.

Just returned from a week in lovely Samos and stayed at Lythos. Overall we had a very comfortable stay. Pool area was nice and enjoyable, rooms had good AC and nice sized comfortable beds and staff all friendly and helpful. It is a steep walk down to the main town but that didn’t bother us as we knew about it beforehand and actually meandering through some of the charming streets on the way down was very enjoyable. Taxi back is €5 and are in plentiful supply from main taxi rank in town. Only slight negatives for us were that the ceramic pool tiles are very slippy with both my husband and I and another guest slipping whilst getting into the pool. Luckily not too damage was done, just some bruising! Could also do with a later bar opening time given the hotels location to the main town and lack of any other tavernas/cafes nearby. That said enjoyable stay and would return.

We loved this hotel. Staff were fabulous. So friendly and helpful. The gentleman who cleaned our room worked so hard and kept the rooms immaculate . We upgraded to a suite which was definately worth it. Lovely views from the balcony. Breakfast was prefect for us. With a good selection. The only issue was the road down to town which was a little scary at times. We really liked being outside Pythagoras and the hill and steps were very manageable. There are lots of very nice places to eat in Pythagoras. Some very nice historic sites including a museum. We also caught the bus to Samos which was worth a visit

Lovely stay at the lithos. Maria the manager was so warm, friendly and accommodating. It was my partners birthday while we were staying and helped out with decorating the room and booking a nice restaurant. All the staff were lovely, Jessie never stopped and literally did everything and eleni was lovely at the pool bar. The location was perfect for us, yes there is steps down to the harbour which are very steep but you can walk along the road into town and back again at a leisurely gradient. The only feedback I would give is to the colour of the tiles in the newly renovated pool, they are yellow and this made the water look greeny/yellow which isn’t very appealing and maybe some more shade for breakfast, especially in the summer months. However we would definitely stay in this lovely hotel. The staff were amazing.
