This hotel probably has the best view and infinity pools in Pythagorian. Its so clean, it has a spa smell everywhere and it has the most pleasant staff, always smiling but unobtrusive. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard every day but the one thing that stood out was the food at breakfast everything you could imagine provided in a relaxed environment. You are guaranteed to get a plush cushioned sunbed with a little pool next to you whatever time of day you rock up. Yes, its at the top of a hill so you get the view so dont complain, its maybe not ideal for people with walking issues but its a stunning location. We went in peak season so the town centre was very busy at night but loads of restaurants and bars somewhere for everyone. We had a hire car and went all around the island I think next time we woukd come in quieter season and stay somewhere with a proper beach. But if you are fit and love a good view this hotel is perfect. Just a shame the pool bar shuts at 5pm and we thought it was expensive and it has nowhere else nearby to go. Top marks to the hardworking staff.

As with previous reviews all I can give this hotel is praise, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave all the staff are friendly and helpful especially the young man who cleans the rooms 👍. And again with previous reviews I do agree that there are more sun beds then breakfast tables but they do only have limited space to use , so if you require shade it’s probably best to rise at 8 as it does get a little warm in Greece in the mornings for those not in the know 😉 Pool area is excellent, we never had a problem getting beds at any time of the day and it was August . One thing to be aware of are the steps going into the pool , be careful they are slippery so I wouldn’t be rushing in . The room I booked was fine for a couple, and the view is absolutely wonderful to wake up to if you book a sea view , the bed is large with comfortable pillows and good air con which seems to be on 24/7 and again with previous reviews it it’s cooler in the day than at night but I think we all know the cost of electricity. There is an issue with hanging clothes if you need to as it is high up on the rack , so if you are a little shorter you may have a problem 😉 Also as mentioned before there is no kettle provided in the room only a small coffee maker ( espresso only ) which was fine but not to my taste so if you like a cup of tea or normal coffee I would recommend taking a travel one , also tea bags as I only found green tea and earl grey tea at to buffet. Safe is provided in the rooms and there was a review earlier in the year about something (read through them !) but I had absolutely no problems at all , but like everything in life be mindful and you will be fine . The hotel is Situated at the top of a busy hill but it’s worth it for the views . The walk down is fine , there are steps a little along the road going down towards the harbour but they are a little steep , so if you have any kind of walking difficulty maybe stay on the road it doesn’t take much longer as for walking back up the steps it is a workout I suppose 😉 I would suggest getting a taxi back from the taxi rank which is also at the bottom of the road (€5 a trip ) if you have any shopping or have had a cocktail or two in the evening. They are plentiful at any time of day even when it’s busy. As for Samos and Pythagorion all I can say is what a lovely place I for one will be returning in fact I am next year at one of the sister hotels near the harbour. Overall it was a very lovely experience, would I return again here yes 👍. Traveled as a couple

Lovely little hotel located at the top of the hill in Pythagorio. We stayed as a young couple and really enjoyed the stay! Pool and rooms were immaculately clean and well cared for. You get fresh towels daily and this includes beach/pool towels. Breakfast is fresh and well prepared. Plenty of sunbeds and never crowded! My only issues were: 1. The pool area is where you eat breakfast (which is common and usually fine) but there was very limited shade and we felt it was less sunbed wars here and more “morning shade” wars! I think they need to think about some more morning parasols to accommodate as people come down early to nab the tables! 2. AC - The air con is OK but not brilliant. We had the bigger suite room but it seemed like it worked in the daytime and at night did not pump out the same cool air? There is a control panel but it doesn’t seem to work well and I am unsure whether this is due to energy saving but was a bit annoying. One night it broke entirely and it was so hot in the room (204) 3. Pool Bar - This hotel is small and boutique style which we do love, however, the pool bar closes at 5pm and there is no other bar or place to get a drink or refreshment. This is quite poor we thought - especially in peak season and given the fact there are no nearby shops. Overall we had a lovely holiday and we are very happy with the experience! If you are looking for something small, clean and friendly this is for you! If you want something closer to the port or more facilities this may not be suitable. Thanks for having us!
