Orama Hotel & Spa

We had an absolutely perfect stay at the Orama Hotel & Spa in Santorini. The property is beautiful, with great attention to detail and every comfort you could wish for, but what truly made the difference was the incredible hospitality of the staff. A special thank you goes to three fantastic people who made our vacation memorable: Androkinis, Anna Maria, and George. Their professionalism, combined with genuine kindness and constant attention to our every need, made us feel pampered from the very first to the last minute. They were always smiling, helpful, and ready to go above and beyond. If you are looking for a dream stay in Santorini, with impeccable service and a unique atmosphere, the Orama Hotel is the ideal place. We will definitely be back!

The hotel has a perfect location, only a couple minute walk from Fira with a beautiful view as soon as you step out of the hotel. We stayed for 10 days and the room was a good size, over looking one of the three pools. We very much spent the holiday relaxing and spent a lot of the time around the pool, which has comedy beds and never struggled to find space. The staff were very welcoming through out our trip, very friendly and accommodating when needed. I’d like to give a special thanks to George, Anna- Marie, Theo, Ikarus and to the porter (apologies we did not catch his name).

Orama is perfectly situated just a few minutes by foot outside Fira. The room we had overlooking the Caldera was decent enough for our needs although it was very minimalist in its offerings. The hotel had 3 lovely pools with quality furniture around them, it probably could have done however with a few more of them. Breakfast, was ok, nothing more nothing less. Unfortunately the waiting staff were not its greatest asset. Everything seemed to be done begrudgingly with no sign of enthusiasm for there roles. That’s just how it was for us.

We recently stayed at Orama Hotel & Suites in Santorini as a family. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but while the hotel has many strengths, it falls short of the standards expected from a true 5-star property. Pros Excellent location – Just a 10-minute walk from Fira town centre, making it easy to explore restaurants, shops, and attractions while enjoying a quieter setting. Outstanding reception staff – Smooth and efficient check-in. The team went above and beyond by explaining the island, recommending places to visit, and suggesting excellent restaurants. They were genuinely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Great facilities – Three adult swimming pools and one children's pool, with plenty of sun loungers, so finding a place to relax was never an issue. Spacious rooms – We stayed in a Family Suite, which was ideal for a family and included two toilets, making it very convenient. Good breakfast – A good variety of options, including freshly prepared omelettes. Some rooms offer caldera views – Worth noting that the Family Suites do not have caldera views. Cons Service not up to 5-star standards – While reception was exceptional, the service in other areas was inconsistent. Poor housekeeping – We had to request English breakfast tea bags and milk almost every day during our four-night stay. Dirty cutlery was left in the room instead of being cleared, and the WC was not cleaned properly. Breakfast area poorly organised – Items such as spoons were in different places each day, making them difficult to find. One of the toasters was not working, and tables were not reset properly after guests left, with condiments and teaspoons often not being replaced promptly. Poor soundproofing – The rooms are not well soundproofed. We could hear noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridors, something that has also been mentioned by other guests. Overall, Orama Hotel & Suites has an excellent location, very good facilities, spacious rooms, and an outstanding reception team. However, improvements in housekeeping, restaurant organisation, room soundproofing, and overall service consistency are needed before it can truly be considered a 5-star hotel. I would happily recommend it as a very good upper 4-star property.

Lovely place to stay in Santorini! It’s quiet enough and a short 5 min walk from the centre of Fira. Staff and facilities are really good. There are plenty of room options, we received a free upgrade to a pool view room. Would recommend the breakfast as well, lots of choice.
