Sol Tropikal Durres

We stayed at Sol Tropikal Durrës Resort from for a week and overall had a very pleasant and relaxing holiday. The resort is in a beautiful beachfront location, with clean and well-maintained facilities. Our room was comfortable and regularly serviced, and the pool and beach areas provided a great place to unwind throughout the week. A particular highlight of our stay was the excellent service from the reception team. All of the reception staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. We would especially like to thank Dorjana for arranging a private day tour for us. Her professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. We would also like to thank Edmond, who drove us on the tour. His friendly nature, local knowledge, and relaxed approach made the day both enjoyable and memorable. The staff throughout the resort worked hard to ensure guests had a pleasant experience, and their efforts were greatly appreciated. The only area where we feel there is room for improvement is the food selection. While the quality of the food was generally good, the options were quite limited, particularly for guests following vegetarian or vegan diets. A wider variety of plant-based dishes would make the dining experience much better for many international visitors. Despite this, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Sol Tropikal Durrës Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday in Albania. Excellent and best hotel in Durres. Especially the receptionists and all the staff namely MARY and KLARA, they’re absolutely amazing, stunning and incredibly helpful with all my needs during my stay.

It is not a 4 star hotel. 3 at best. It is a bus journey away from resturants, bars etc. It is situated just off a busy road with nothing around it. The hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. The staff are really helpful. We were all inclusive and found the food was almost always cold. We had to use the microwave constantly. The bar is in the reception area and there are no toilets there. You have to walk through the dark dining room to use the bathroom. It closes at 11pm and there is no facility to even buy a drink after the all inclusive has stoped. Any hotel we have ever been to have at least an hour of bar service when the all inclusive stops. We ate out a few times just to experience hot food. The entertainment is for french people. It was in another part of the complex and while there was a bar there it was not part of the all inclusive package. We were 3 couples so we made the best of it.

Love it. From the entrance to the beach everything is awesome. Location is the best, the atmosphere is very relaxing, you feel very peaceful working around. The rooms are very spacious and clean, New ones at building 2. Value for money is 100/100. The service is top, very professional and attentive. The amenities in the rooms were good. It is a must if you are in Durres

This was a very nice hotel. Staff Evia was very kind and attentive. She was helpful and made our stay brilliant. Special mention to the Manager Javier. Javier is very customer focused and made sure all our needs were met. We appreciate and will definitely come back soon.
