The Secrets Resort at Baby Beach is simply incredible! First class experience all the way, food, alcohol, pools, entertainment and the beautiful, stunning Baby Beach make this an unforgettable and joyful destination for anyone loving the sun, water and Caribbean. The staff was kind, warm and exceptional! Ty, Louis, and everyone from the reception desk, restaurants, entertainment, just flawless and fun time all around! I especially enjoyed the morning sound bath classes at 9:00am and the outside yoga classes with instructor, Christi facing Baby Beach. Secrets at Baby Beach I 💜you!! I look forward to my next stay here.

Secrets Baby Beach is the best high end all inclusive resort! Our room is so luxurious and the food in all the restaurants was mouthwatering. Nightly entertainment was excellent... special shout out to the entertainment staff: Tai, Suzu, Jasmine, Lisa, Angela, Ivy, Demitri & Emilio, for working incredibly hard to make sure everyone had a great experience. Special shoutout also to our guardian angel, our big man Robert for carrying our luggages up the giant stairs and to Gregory at luggage station for making sure we didn't miss our shuttle. I hope to come back to Secrets Baby Beach very soon.

We stayed at Secrets Baby Beach Aruba in October 2026, expecting the luxury experience advertised by the resort. Unfortunately, our first impression was far from what we had anticipated. We booked a Junior Suite King through World of Hyatt in May, when the room was advertised with a garden view and private furnished balcony. Upon checking in, we discovered that our room directly faced a massive active construction site, complete with cranes, excavators, concrete trucks, noise, and dust. Our balcony was inaccessible, and the glass had been frosted for privacy, leaving us with essentially no view at all. What made this particularly frustrating was that none of the construction had been disclosed when we booked. Even during our stay, both the World of Hyatt and Secrets websites continued to show the original landscaped garden views without any construction notice. Had we known about the extent of the construction, we would never have booked this property. However, the most disappointing part wasn’t even the room. It was how the front desk handled our concerns. When we raised the issue, the representative initially insisted that the construction had been disclosed online since March and implied that we had simply overlooked the updated photos and notice. We double-checked both the Hyatt and Secrets websites and showed her that neither contained the claimed disclosure. The photos still showed landscaped gardens, not the massive construction site outside our window. Rather than acknowledging the discrepancy, her explanation changed. She repeatedly told us that “they” should have updated the website and that we needed to contact “them” ourselves to resolve the issue. I actually had to ask who she meant by “they,” only to discover she was referring to Hyatt! We found this particularly disappointing. Secrets is part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, yet the front desk treated World of Hyatt almost like an unrelated third-party booking platform. As guests, we shouldn’t have to navigate internal responsibilities or spend our vacation trying to determine who is accountable for inaccurate room descriptions. The initial attempt to resolve the situation was equally frustrating. We were offered the option to change rooms for an additional $85 per night, despite the hotel’s website advertising upgrades starting at $10 per night. More importantly, we didn’t believe we should have to pay anything extra simply to receive a room without construction directly outside our window and with the amenities originally advertised. Only after considerable back and forth did the front desk reluctantly agree to relocate us the following day. The replacement room was the same category but overlooked the pool instead of the construction site, which was a significant improvement. While we appreciated finally receiving a more suitable room, it should not have required so much effort on our part. Unfortunately, the initial experience had already taken considerable time away from our vacation, between discussing the issue with the front desk, checking the websites, documenting the discrepancies, and contacting Hyatt ourselves. That said, the rest of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The parts of the property away from the construction were beautiful, and we particularly enjoyed the pools. The resort is also in a relatively remote part of Aruba compared with the hotels along the island’s west coast, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you’re hoping to explore restaurants, nightlife, or other attractions outside the property. Construction is sometimes unavoidable, but honest disclosure, accurate advertising, and taking ownership of guest concerns should be basic expectations at a resort positioning itself as a luxury property. While the replacement room improved our stay and there were aspects of the resort we genuinely enjoyed, the lack of transparency and initial handling of our concerns left a lasting negative impression. I strongly encourage anyone considering this resort to inquire about the ongoing construction and confirm their room’s actual view and balcony accessibility before booking.
