Velký výběr jídla, vždy jsme si měli co vybrat, vše chutné, velmi příjemný personál, jen špinavé židle, vše jinak v pořádku

Rezort je veliký a krásný, pěkně uklizený. Pokoje poměrně prostorné s velkou šatnou a 2 balkony (rodinný pokoj). Luxusní výběr bazénů s dostatkem lehátek. I mimo sezónu animačních programů fungoval dětský koutek. Pláž nádherná, čistá s lehátky zdarma. Jídla obrovský výběr, který se i obměňoval v průběhu dnů. Bohužel teplý pult byl jen vlažný, jak už jsme četli v jiných recenzích. Zákusky vypadaly krásně, ale moc nám nechutnaly. S ostatním jsme velmi spokojeni. K dispozici mnoho dětských židliček. Půjčovna aut přímo vedle recepce za rozumně ceny. Denní úklid pokoje dle naší potřeby.

We booked this Easyjet all-inclusive holiday from 28 September to 12 October and we have never been so disappointed. It cost a lot of money for a very mediocre property. I would give it a 2*. I note that Jet2 and Tui also use this hotel, and have heard that Hays Travel has removed it from their portfolio. On check-in we were upgraded to a 'premium guest'. I realise we were coming at the end of the main season, but general advice to avoid the crowds was to travel in the shoulder seasons (April-May or Sept-Oct). However, although the weather was good, many businesses had closed for the season including local tour operators. I was very disappointed not to see anything much of the country. The location is somewhat remote and required a Euro 15 taxi ride each way into Ulcinj itself. Within a couple of days of arrival, the only good hot food outlet (The Mexican), the hotel shop, travel concierge desk and a la carte restaurants were all closed, with the a la cartes moved to the main dining area. I managed to book an outrageously expensive excursion to Kotor bay with the Tui rep, but this was cancelled due to lack of take up. I eventually booked one excursion to Lake Skadar (a 2 hour boat trip and an hour transfer each way) via GetmyGuide. I wrote (by hand) a long letter to the hotel management about my concerns whilst staying there, but have not had any feedback. On the good side, the hotel itself is nicely laid out, with attractive gardens, 5 pools and plenty of sunbeds and set directly on a long sandy beach. The bar staff, in particular, were outstanding, always cheerful and helpful (the majority coming from Indonesia and Mexico – where they work in other Karisma establishments). Other staff were reasonably helpful and nice. A small number of guests were not happy about the dogs and cats around the hotel but were loved, fed and welcomed by the majority. The Animation team tried their best. They were the only entertainment in the evenings. Bad points: Rooms: We stayed in Blueberry block on the ground floor. The room was large and relatively clean. Tap water is not drinkable and often had a strange colour and smell. There was no plug for the sink, making washing clothes a bit challenging. During our 14 night stay the shower and toilet were never cleaned. Towels changed often, bedding merely straightened out, bins emptied daily. Cleanliness of public toilets, beach and public areas was generally very good. Dining: 1. All food on offer was served cold, or tepid at best (I checked and this was not a cultural thing). All British clients and the French complained and complained and eventually one 750w microwave was installed at the buffet. I explained repeatedly that this was unsafe – people would not heat the food adequately to make it safe (e.g. rice, fish, meat). I tested by hand the food trays on the induction hob-style heaters and the edges/sides were cold to the touch. I told the manager that this was a disaster waiting to happen and envisaged everyone going down with gastroenteritis - I only heard of a few cases of D&V. In most AI properties I’ve stayed, someone tests food temperatures with a thermometer at 15 minute intervals - but no such thing here. 2. No toaster provided at breakfast. 3. Food was practically identical every day at the buffet and recycled between lunch and dinner. 4. The ‘a la carte restaurants’ were far from it. I ordered a risotto which was stone cold as was the soup my husband had ordered. We sent them back to be heated. 5. Vegan/Vegetarians: There was a lack of understanding about such dietary requirements – charcuterie and cheeses were displayed on the same platter. There were no separate serving spoons/tongs for each dish; one server put the roast beef on top of frites/chips in order to carve it. The two vegans I spoke to only ate fruit and (stale) bread. Nothing was labelled as vegetarian or vegan (apart from some sorry looking ‘vegan patties’). 6. The seating in the buffet restaurant was filthy (upholstered), so they might want to think about wooden seating or similar. In summary, I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone. It is extremely poor value for money. We were ready to come home after 4 days - and I have never been so disappointed.

Huge complex. Very busy with locals too. Good food options. Beware the sand gets extremely hot so make sure you wear slippers on the beach. Very clean beach

We had a wonderful experience at Azul Beach Resort Montenegro! The resort is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The beach is amazing, and the food offers a great variety. Overall, it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy a lovely holiday. Highly recommended!
