Terra Park Phalaris

Not a wheelchair friendly!!! We drove from UK to Terra Park 2 days and were so excited to spend 5 days there, to finally realised on arrival that our stay will be awful. The place on booking is advertised as a Wheelchair accessible and this was one of the reasons to book. We have had a mobile home on 1st line for which we paid more than 500 euros per night. Upon arrival, we found out that it will be impossible for my sister to go into the pool because of the metal steps attached where not suitable for someone with limited mobility. When explaining that to the reception staff I have been told to go back to them the next day and speak to the Manager, who will sort us out and move to a better suitable house. The following day, the Manager was on “meetings” whole day and we didn’t set a chance to talk. Even though, we were moved to a different house with a better suitable swimming pool. The pool was better, but then again, no rail to hold when going down the steps. The place is advertised on booking as a wheelchair accessible, but on Terra Park website is not a single world about wheelchair’s accessibility or accessibility for people with reduced mobility. I was pointed out about that by one of the receptionist staff, a blond guy who was kind enough at the beginning, but then very mean and aggressive on check out when I asked why should I pay more for the house we have been moved. He said: “You will pay that or final cleaning of the house first house”. Even when we paid prior booking, we had final cleaning included in our price. The Manager again, refused to talk to us as busy “on meeting” again. My sister could not have a proper shower for our whole stay, because the shower room was so small and she was not able to sit in there as the shower has had not disabled access. So overall: A place where the Manager is hiding and not willing to talk with their own customers, who basically pay there wages! She basically hides behind the reception wall and make reception staff take all negativity. And believe me, I have witnessed that with my own eyes during many of my visits to the reception. There were always someone angry at the reception staff. Very very poor and out of respect management!! A place where staff is not friendly and understandable when comes to people with reduced mobility. Our stay was ruined by the complete and total ignorance! Could not fault the restaurant staff. They were so nice, friendly and welcoming!!! They know how to make guests comfortable with the lead of their Manager Miroslav! I do apologise if my review has been chaotic, but it’s an honest and I still feel disappointed of how people with reduced mobility and their families are treated in this place. Out holiday was ruined!

Nice sea. The price is quite high. We come here regularly and it might be the last time for a long time. Very bad experience with the toilets. The septic tank leaked and flooded the neighbors. It can happen. But the cheap approach of the staff surprised me quite a bit. They poured some disinfectant over the place. And they didn't even apologize. Regular power outages every day. I'm quite disappointed with this approach. That's why I'll decide to change the campsite next year.

We are here for a week-long stay with our caravan, and not a single day goes by without problems. Every other day, there is a power outage lasting at least three hours; we have a pitch near the sanitary facilities, where foul-smelling wastewater has overflowed for the second time now. At reception, they just say "sorry." They didn't even respond to our complaint about the electricity. This facility ought to be shut down on hygiene grounds; no guest wants to walk through sewage.
