Hotel Diana

Great hotel, very friendly staff. Great view at the lake and very quiet at night. Free parking and also very important these days is great Wifi connection! The breakfast is very good, big varity too choose from. If we are again in the area we certainly will come back to this hotel

The Alpes as background, Lago di Garda in the foreground. A spacious room, a large terrasse, closet space, shelf space, drawer space, a well appointed bathroom, plenty of hot water, a fine TV, a super pleasant and accommodating staff, free parking, a fine pool with a wonderful view, plenty of lawn space and chairs, nothing missing--except for a functional wi-fi, no one is perfect--for a wonderful moment. Several seemingly ok+ restaurants within walking distance; but why use them? Hotel Diana has a kitchen of high quality. The breakfasts are models of the genre; the dinners--you have a choice of three entrees and three mains--are an eagerly anticipated moment. There is the delightful M. Adriano each evening with a special opener conceived with intelligence and executed with flair. Our four night stay was one of the three most pleasant in decades of travel. Did I mention that all this is ridiculously inexpensive for the quality received? Or should I not be be vulgar when speaking of heaven?

This is such a beautiful hotel. The rooms are wonderful and the restaurant serves great meals for hotel guests only. The grounds and the pool are immaculate and are right on the shore of Lago di Garda. There is extensive free parking, too!! A winner!!!

We decided to spend a week at Lago di Garda. After reading positive comments about Hotel Diana in San Zeno, the so called balcony of Lago di Garda, we decided ourselves to stay a week there. I took some pictures for you to have some impression of the room, the surroundings and the menue. Our first room on the 4th floor was not as good as we expected it, it smelled like a smokers room. Even though its forbidden to smoke at the hotel, people probably to it in their balcony and unfortunately for us non-smokers they leave a stinky room behind them. Sad but true. Not much of consideration there unfortunately. We decided to change room and this was not a problem at all. They were pretty much booked out but we managed to find a better room even for our whole stay. We stayed on the first floor. The first 3 floors are renovated I believe, the 4th is still work in progress.So we had luck with our new room and we were happy again. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful. The dinner was great, and menues varied every day. Even special request like the pannacotta we asked for once was served that very nigth. Apart from that we could have the "normal" dessert as well. The location is good in case you want to go sightseeing to Bardolino, Malcesine, Torri del Benaco and so on. We even went to Venice one day. It was about 1,5h drive from the hotel. We parked in Mestre for 10€ / day during the week and took the train for 1,10€ from the station to St. Lucia in Venice. Very easy and very cheap. I hope you enjoy the hotel as much as we did in case you decide to go there. This is a place I would come back to and even recommend to others. Only thing you might need to be aware of is that the pool is very cold and the hotel is close to a street if you lying at the pool. This might be annoying. But as we went to the lake every day, this was not a problem for us. The street doenst disturb during the evening. Its very quite up there in San Zeno. Cheers to you all!

The hotel is situated in a small village near the Monte Baldo with a spectacular view over the Garda Lake. The rooms are beautifully decorated and we have had a spacious room with a balcony and a lovely view (fronte lago). There is a big,free parking place and the pool aerea is surrounded by a large garden/lawn where we always found available deck chairs. We have spent 2 weeks (August/September) here the last 3 years and have noticed that the place is very well maintained. Wherever you look; your room, public aereas, garden, swimming pool it is very clean; you could say spotless. The food is excellent!! We even found the hotel listed with a star in the Michelin Guide. The prices are reasonable and you get good value for your money. We can recommend this hotel with great pleasure. (Norwegian couple age 60 +)
