Úžasný hotel v úžasném lyžařském středisku . Vše naprosto OK a přesahující deklarované 4,5 hvězdy :-) Ubytování do posledního detailu promyšlené, vyjímečný servis ze strany top managementu . Evidentní snaha o nejvyšší gastronomii může být ve svém důsledku na škodu :-( Osobně bych přivítal jednodušší a regionálně a italsky zaměřenou kuchyni ... Jinak vřele doporučuji, určitě nejlepší hotel v regionu :-)

We last visited Hotel Monika thirteen years ago so we were excited to return to the newly expanded version. What a brilliant job they have done. The facilities are superb. We loved the rooftop pool. As before the food experience is off the scale and the friendly staff offer fantastic service. Thank you to Lukas for his wine choices! Even though the hotel is now twice as big, the attention to detail has been maintained. There are so many more activities on offer we could have stayed another week at least so we will be back!

Choosing a hotel in the Dolomites can be very overwhelming- the choices are endless! However, Monika stood out to us immediately when browsing due to its modern take on the South Tyrol heritage! It has recently been renovated and we couldn’t find many recent reviews, but took the plunge and booked it directly with the hotel - and what a perfect stay we’ve had! From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with a refreshing towel and drink to the day we left and found our car windscreen has been washed for us before we depart, nothing was too much trouble! The food and wine choice were exceptional, the rooms spacious, the interior minimal, but striking and the spa facilities- excellent! However, the biggest asset to this place are the people - everyone we interacted with was polite, respectful and not to mention spoke a minimum of 3-4 languages without fail! We’ve not experienced this attention to detail in a long time while on holiday and have been blown away by the kindness and personal touches during our stay! Special mention to the team at the restaurant, reception staff and, of course, the owner Alexander, who came to personally speak to everyone on a few separate occasions! Last but not least, the surrounding area is gorgeous- some amazing walks right on the hoyeldoorstep and Sesto is a great base to explore this part of the Dolomites and beyond! P.S. we stayed in room 214, which was amazing and had a stunning view and a super easy access to the sky pool and spa areas Thank you for making our anniversary and stay special - can’t wait to visit again! My stay at Hotel Monika in Sexten, Dolomites, completely redefined my expectations of a mountain getaway. The blend of professional hiking support and luxury relaxation was seamless. [Perfect Logistics for Hiking] To beat the crowds, we headed out early to tackle the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The hotel’s support was incredibly thoughtful—they provided hiking sticks for rent and packed us a generous "breakfast box" (ham and cheese sandwiches, yogurt, apple, and water). Having a picnic surrounded by those magnificent mountain views was a highlight of the trip. It took all the stress out of our morning adventure. [Ultimate Relaxation: Mountain View SPA] Returning to the hotel after a long hike, the SPA facilities were pure bliss. We were lucky to enjoy the outdoor 40°C hot tub and sauna in the afternoon with almost no one else around. Gazing out at the Alps while soaking in the hot water offered a level of serenity that reminded me of the best high-end onsen inns in Japan—incredibly therapeutic. [Overall Impression] The hotel’s facilities are modern, and the half-board dining experience was excellent. If you are looking for a base in the Sexten area that perfectly balances professional hiking convenience with high-end, comfortable relaxation, I cannot recommend Hotel Monika enough.
