Excelsior Hotel Cimone

A very disappointing stay despite the excellent location The location of the hotel was excellent, but unfortunately that was the only truly positive part of our stay. Our room was the most poorly cleaned hotel room I have ever stayed in. The smell was so unpleasant that we had to go to a shop and buy room fragrance and disinfectant. We then wiped down the surfaces ourselves before we felt comfortable using the room. The food was also very disappointing. It tasted cheap and appeared to consist largely of pre-prepared or ready-made products rather than freshly cooked meals. Overall, the hotel itself was such a major disappointment that, had it been practical, we would have left earlier. Fortunately, we stayed for only two nights, because we would not have wanted to spend another day in a hotel that felt this dirty and unpleasant. The beautiful location cannot make up for the serious problems with cleanliness, smell and food quality.

We have been in Hotel Cimone as a group of 29 friends from different countries. The hotel is located in a really good part of SAN Martino. It has a great view of nature. All of the workers here are so nice, cheerful and professional. Thanks to all crew 🙏

The Excelsior and its location takes your breath away in every corner. Incredible facilities and amenities. The dinning service does not match the hotel. Either understaffed or poor timing. Waiters were rushed to take your order, predicting before you actually ordered. Plates arrived at very different timing (my wife ended up waiting a long time for her dish). Seems you have to raise your hand to often to get some water or another glass of wine.
