Barcelo Fuerteventura Royal Level Adults Only

Third time of staying at the adults only Royal Level, stayed for 1 week. Priced up all inclusive but found it was very expensive compared to half board, used the pool bar for various drinks and most days for lunch and bill came to under £200.00 which we found very reasonable. We prefer to get taxi to and from hotel and airport and each journey is under €20.00. Food great quality as always with plenty of choice, rooms spacious and always kept clean by the hard working housekeeping staff. Yet again the staff really make this hotel stand out as they are very attentive and helpfull, the bar staff and restaurant staff work extremely hard. Yet again although they have added more sunbeds the sunbed wars around the pool are still an issue as if your not down by about 10.00hrs you will be lucky to get a bed, some people put towels down really early in morning but don't use them until late afternoon, this really needs to be addressed as it seems to be the only issue with the hotel.

1st of all we will deff go back, checking in, flight was early room not ready however we can use all amenities, we chose AI and would do so again, room was airy big clean and bright, cleaned daily comfortable if you want sheets changed you have to put card on bed, lovely patio area however, missing lights damaged walls mop marks and pink cleaning powder show the wear on the rooms, but clean and comfy, breakfast was great best orange juice, plenty of choice with fresh eggs delivered to the table, lunch and dinner from the buffet is dire, with AI option plenty of other places to eat. Pool lovely and clean but beds get taken quick and people reserve them and not use the till late afternoon, I found very annoying, pool service bar fantastic … I can honestly say every member of staff we met were friendly helpful and went out of there way to make your stay amazing, that goes for all areas of Barcello . If the food was better it would be an amazing place. The club sandwich at royal level was ok however the same order at pool bar at Mar was amazing so guessing a new chef may help royal level

From checking in to leaving the staff are all friendly and helpful, they even remember your drinks order, the room was clean large and airy, lovely outdoor sitting area, can tell the room was well worn, lights missing, marked walls, mop marks and the use of pink cleaning products, however it was still cleaned daily, sun beds are taken quite early and there is still people putting towels down then not turning up till late afternoon, food at royal level, breakfast is great, wonderful orange juice with good choice, lunch and dinner was dire, we were AI so had plenty of choice to eat elsewhere, pool service was good and efficient..we would deff return as the area is perfect for us

Third visit, will return! Big shout out to Sylvia (Sylvia?) who made sure as loyal customers we were allocated the accommodation we preferred.

We’ve stayed at several Barceló hotels over many years, including the Mar next door. The RL AO is bar far our favourite hotel so far. The service standard throughout the hotel is excellent. The beach front views are very special and the pool area is exceptional. Very friendly, attentive staff who can’t do enough for you. The pool bar table service is very good and the cocktails are lovely. The nighttime entertainment is excellent and the envy of passers by! The rooms are in need of some TLC in places, but overall are very comfortable. Although there is no smoking at any of the outside seating area tables and sun beds which was welcomed, the smoking seating area unfortunately means that the smell for non smokers negatively impacted on some of the seating/ sun bathing areas around it. Especially those that look out over the beach. Perhaps consider moving it away from the sun beds. Access to the wider complex and many restaurants means you have lots of choice of eating options. We will be back - again! Thank you for a lovely holiday.
