Coral Cotillo Reef Apartments

This was our 4th year of coming and we still loved everything. Some days a few things weren’t always available at breakfast but in general it was good. Staff always helpful and this time we met Iban who was new to us but he was extremely pleasant and helpful and a great addition to the team. Enjoyed the usual fitness classes with Reny and hired a car to see the rest of the island. El Cotillo is definitely the place to be. Good to see the Coral Reef finished after watching it being built over the past couple of years but I wouldn’t want to stay there due to no real views. Prefer the pool view rooms with balcony at the Coral Cotillo Beach. Always very relaxing and chilled atmosphere.We are still discovering new restaurants 4 years later. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back .

Hotel is modern and extremely clean. Staff appear happy in their work and are friendly. Breakfast was plentiful but dinner was not. At buffet dinner your selection was limited as there was no timely anticipated replenishment of food. No tomatoes available in salad bar one night, in a Spanish hotel! Bbq one night, asked for the chicken was told not ready for another 6 minutes. No continuity in food. The hotel is reducing food waste but has no timely replenishment. No drinks waiter so you can wait some time into your main meal before being approached. No hotel tab on credit card for drinks, all drinks are on pay as you go, even at dinner. So had to carry cash or incur bank charges if using card every time. Hotel has no atmosphere unfortunately. Evening entertainment on Monday & Thursday only. No background music.

A must-go to! 🌴☀️ Having just come back from our first stay at Coral Cotillo Beach Hotel, I very much needed to jump straight on here and share just how lovely it really was. The pictures on the website don`t do it justice.. From start to finish, the hotel, the staff and the area did not disappoint. The hotel and our room were absolutely spotless. The pool area was beautiful and clean, and the restaurant was beautifully laid out. Although the restaurant is self-service, it certainly isn't the mass-produced food, noisy atmosphere and pushing and shoving you sometimes find with self service. Everything was very chilled and relaxed, the food was fabulous and once again, the staff were attentive, friendly and lovely. There’s plenty to do at the hotel too, from Paddle to a very well-equipped gym, so there’s something for everyone. There isn’t a children’s club, which meant we probably only saw around five families with small children during our entire week. This could be a real plus if you’re looking for more of an adults-only feel without paying the premium for an adults-only hotel. It’s not totally adults-only, of course, but it’s not far off! The town of El Cotillo is a lovely little place too. It wasn’t overly touristy and had such a chilled atmosphere — perfect if that’s what you’re looking for from a holiday. There is a direct bus from just near the hotel taking you into Corralejo for just €3.10 each if you want a more lively day/night. I’m not usually someone who likes returning to the same place or hotel, but this is definitely an exception to the rule. We will be back! ❤️

A very friendly place, helpful staff and great hotel and location.

When arrived there is lots of building work and cranes around , so not the best first impression. The public areas of the hotel are very clean and tastefully done. The staff are very helpful and friendly. However when booking nowhere did it say it was NO SMOKING anywhere throughout the hotel not even on your own balcony, you have to go outside the hotel to smoke . We stayed in room no 1 it was a good size but in need of a re-fresh stains on walls and mould above the AC no doors on the wardrobe so spent all week looking at the clothes also no mirror in main part of the room . On a whole enjoyed the holiday but would not return
