Hotel LIVVO Jandia Golf

Disappointing stay – serious security concerns Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing, mainly because of the way a serious security issue was handled. The hotel is located in a valley, so the surroundings are quite quiet, but the location itself is not particularly convenient. During my stay, I was robbed in my room. For three days I asked the reception staff to check the access/logging system for my room door, but I was repeatedly dismissed and nothing was properly investigated. After the hotel checked who had entered the room, I was told that it was a “trusted person”. No real explanation or solution was offered, and the hotel essentially just washed its hands of the matter. This was extremely frustrating and made me feel unsafe. In my opinion, this is a very serious issue that the hotel management should have handled much more professionally. Other aspects of the stay were average. The food was nothing special, although there was enough choice. The hotel was reasonably clean. The swimming pool was disappointing because the water was very cold. On the positive side, there are two transfers to the seaside, at 10:00 and 11:00, with return at 17:00. The transfer needs to be booked one day in advance. There is also parking available for rental cars. The staff at the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful, which was definitely one of the better parts of the stay. Overall, however, the security incident and the poor response from reception completely overshadowed the positive aspects. I would not recommend this hotel, especially given how my complaint about the room access and theft was handled.

We’ve just come back from 7 nights at LIVVO Golf Jandía and wanted to share our honest experience because, like a lot of people, we read the bad reviews before we went and wondered if we’d made the right choice… Well… we absolutely loved it! ❤️ We went as a family of 4 adults, a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old, and honestly, we had such a lovely holiday. 🏨 The hotel Our room was lovely and BIG, which was great with two little ones and all the stuff that comes with them 😂. The air con worked well, there was a free safe and WiFi, and we found the hotel really easy to get around. 🏊‍♀️ The pools There are 3 pools and we enjoyed them all. The smaller children's pool was a massive hit with our two little ones, and the bigger pools with the slides were great fun too. When they brought out the big blue mat, the kids absolutely loved it! 😂 We spent loads of time around the pools and had no complaints at all. And something we’d seen mentioned quite a lot in reviews was the dreaded “sunbed wars” 😂… honestly, we didn’t experience this at all! We always managed to get sunbeds throughout the day without any problems. ☀️ 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The staff The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and helpful during our stay. But a HUGE shout-out has to go to Antonio from the entertainment team! ❤️ Our two boys absolutely adored him. He was amazing with all the children and you could tell he genuinely loved what he did. He made such a fuss of the boys and they absolutely loved seeing him every day. Thank you, Antonio! You really did make their holiday. 🥰👏 🍽️ The food The food was probably the one thing we’d say was just okay. It wasn’t anything spectacular, but it was perfectly edible and we always found something to eat. Nobody went hungry! Drinks is a token system and we never went thirsty so this system worked for us. We also recommend taking you're own drinks bottles we found this really handy. 🚗 Hire a car – definitely if you can/want! We hired a car and honestly, we’d recommend it. It gave us the freedom to get out and about and see more of the island rather than just staying around the hotel. We visited different beaches, went to the market, walked along the strip and went out for food a couple of times. It was lovely being able to explore at our own pace. 🦒 Oasis Wildlife Park If you’re going with children, definitely try and get to Oasis Wildlife Park. We had a brilliant day there and would highly recommend it! ❤️ Overall… We honestly had a fantastic holiday. Beautiful weather ☀️ Happy kids 👦🏼👦🏼 Lots of swimming 🏊‍♀️ Plenty of exploring 🚗 Good vibes all round 🌴❤️ We know everyone’s experience can be different, but we wanted to give an honest review because we'd seen some of the negative comments before going and, for us, they really didn't reflect the holiday we had. Would we go back? Absolutely! ❤️ Thank you LIVVO Golf Jandía for a brilliant family holiday. We made some lovely memories and the boys definitely weren't ready to come home! ❤️☀️🌴

Rooms are good, food is good and staff are good but a bunch of Spanish played a beats box noisily all afternoon and staff did nothing about it. We came for a well deserved peaceful holiday . Sadly if this continues it won’t be 😔

We stayed in Room 1223 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Every morning, we were woken before 6:30am by deliveries and rubbish being emptied. On one morning, we were also treated to drilling directly outside our room at 7:30am — hardly the relaxing holiday we were hoping for. The wet room was extremely dangerous and, despite being advised that the resort was accessible, it was far from it. Wherever my daughter wanted to go, we often had to move furniture to make space for her. If she wanted to use the slide, there was a long route around the toilets, which were only available on one side of the resort. This made getting around unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. The swimming pools were absolutely freezing and unbearable for the children to stay in for any length of time. The resort itself was filthy in places. The canteen was exactly that — a canteen — but unfortunately even dirtier. The floors were filthy, the food was never warm, and the same dishes seemed to be served every day. We also did not feel particularly welcome as an English family. On one occasion, the chef was extremely rude and gave the impression that he did not want to serve us. If you are able-bodied, it seems you can simply jump the fence to reserve a sunbed, which was incredibly frustrating. The evening entertainment was also very poor, which was such a shame because the location has so much potential. I will never return to this resort and, based on this experience, I would not book another Jet2 holiday. We were advised that the resort was accessible, but our experience was very different from what we were led to expect. There were, however, some positives. Some of the cleaning staff in the canteen were absolutely amazing and worked incredibly hard. Jandía and Morro Jable are beautiful areas, and this resort could genuinely be a fantastic place to stay, especially with the golf course and the surrounding location. Unfortunately, the resort itself needs significant improvements, particularly when it comes to cleanliness, food, accessibility, noise, pool temperatures and the overall attitude towards guests.
