Hotel LIVVO Jandia Golf

Just stayed here for 5 nights and we had a fab time, room was clean and very spacious everything you need. The food was good especially the themed nights. The drinks were great and lots of choice. The pool was good and the slides. They had something different on everynight we really enjoyed the magic show. The hotel is a little far out but they do a free taxi to the beach for people which is brilliant, we hired a car for the time we were there so had no problems getting about. Would defo come back 😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 — 5-night stay for our 1-year anniversary We stayed at Hotel LIVVO Jandía Golf for 5 nights for our 1-year anniversary and overall had a really lovely stay! We actually went into the holiday feeling a little worried because when we booked, the newer reviews were really positive, but over the following few weeks we noticed some much more negative reviews appearing. After staying here ourselves, we honestly feel that some of those reviews were quite unfair, because our experience was really positive and we would definitely recommend this resort. The hotel & cleanliness The hotel is very spacious, modern and clean, and the whole resort was kept really tidy throughout our stay. When we arrived, we were asked how often we wanted our room cleaned and which days we wanted housekeeping. We chose every day and the room was cleaned every single day to a really high standard. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, so we couldn’t fault this at all. The staff were also incredible. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but especially the reception team and the bar staff at the upstairs sports bar. Location The hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountains and sits on a huge golf course, so there are some lovely views. It’s around a 1 hour 30 minute–2 hour journey from the airport. We’d definitely recommend getting a taxi or private transfer rather than the shuttle/coach, as the hotel is one of the last drop-offs and the journey can be quite long. The town and beach are around a 6–10 minute taxi ride away. We paid around €7 each way, although some people choose to walk, which is around a 30-minute walk downhill on the way there. There aren’t really any shops around the hotel itself, apart from vending machines, so if you want snacks or drinks for your room, we’d recommend getting them from the shops in town, which were reasonably priced. Breakfast & food Breakfast is served from 8:00–10:30 and there was a really good variety of both savoury and sweet food. The only thing we weren’t keen on was the drinks at breakfast. The water didn’t taste great and the juices were very strong and didn’t always taste like what they were labelled as. The pool bar was definitely one of our favourite places! It’s open from 11:00–23:00 and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, fizzy drinks, chocolate milk, slushies, cocktails and lots of different alcohol options. From 12:00–16:00 they serve pool snacks including chips, burgers, hot dogs, nachos and salads. There is also a proper lunch served from 13:00–15:00, but we were always so full from the pool snacks that we never actually went for lunch! Light snacks are served from 16:30–18:00, and dinner is from 18:30–21:30. Reception asks what time you’d like to go down for dinner. Dinner in the main restaurant was okay, but probably wasn’t our favourite part of the stay. There was a good selection of salads, meats, fish, chips and desserts. The themed Italian restaurant was much nicer for us, with salads, pizza and lots of different pastas. Drinks & the token system We saw a few reviews mentioning the drink token system, but honestly, we didn’t find it an issue at all. You take your token to the bar in exchange for a drink, and when you get another drink you hand your cup back and receive a fresh one. At the end of the night, plastic cups can be taken back to your room if you want to, or swapped back for your token. Glasses have to be returned at the end of the night in exchange for the token. We actually thought this was a really good system because it meant there weren’t plastic cups and glasses left all over the resort. The whole hotel and pool areas were kept really clean and tidy. The upstairs sports bar is open from 19:00–23:00 and was lovely. We found it much quieter in the evenings than the pool bar, so the queues weren’t as long. The only downside was that there was generally only one member of staff working behind each bar, so the pool bar could get quite busy at times. Pools & activities There are two huge pools with loads of sunbeds. We never struggled to get a sunbed and there weren’t many people queuing for them, which was a massive bonus! The pools are open from 10-19:00 every day! There are also three water slides, open from 11:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00. They were so much fun and surprisingly fast! The pools are quite cold, but when it’s so hot outside, they are incredibly refreshing. There are lots of daytime activities, including things like water polo. There was definitely more entertainment aimed at children than adults, with children’s activities throughout the day from around 11:00–16:00. In the evenings, there was children’s entertainment first and then entertainment for everyone later on. Some nights were better than others, but the White Party was absolutely brilliant and definitely one of the highlights of our stay! Overall We had a really lovely 5-night stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our first anniversary abroad together. There were a few things that stopped it being a 5-star stay for us, mainly the breakfast drinks and the main restaurant, and we would have liked to see a little more adult-focused entertainment. However, the beautiful surroundings, huge pools, water slides, great pool bar, Italian restaurant, cleanliness and especially the amazing staff made this a holiday we’ll remember. We honestly think some of the negative reviews we read before coming were unfair based on our own experience. We were initially nervous after seeing the change in reviews, but we’re so glad we didn’t let them put us off. We would definitely recommend Hotel LIVVO Jandía Golf and would happily come back! 4/5 ⭐️

The rooms were excellent, clean and very comfortable beds, couldn’t believe how big the place was for a hotel. We had a room with a wet room bathroom and every time it flooded out into the hallway the drain was clogged with hair . The hotel itself is very nice. The food was very repetitive and mediocre , the cocktails were diabolical out of a machine and way too sweet wasn’t impressed having to drink out of a kids plastic beaker. All the staff were amazing, so friendly especially the two young French guys and very funny . The pools were lovely but sometimes a bit grubby by the end of the day with clumps of hair and rubbish . There was always entertainment in the evenings although the magic show was so cringy . The town a ten minute drive away was great and the beaches were absolutely gorgeous. I would return here but I would not be eating or drinking here it was not up to the 4 stars I would rate it at 2/3 stars, because of the food.

Overall, this hotel is amazing! The staff are so friendly, the food (taste and variety) is very good, and the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel is fantastic! It is a lovely relaxing resort and I would recommend for others to book here. As we went in September, the hotel has been not too busy which has made a welcoming quiet atomsphere. The location is lovely, and there is a free taxi to take you down to the beach.

Great service,surprisingly great range of food choices for AL, clean rooms and public toilets too! Could use a shop at the resort and some other activities between 4-9pm but overall very happy.
