Hotel gives you map of hotel with your key card, states 2 adult pools, no it isn't kids are in every pool, not allowed to reserve sunbeds with towels, Oh Yes you can, no-one takes any notice of that, kids screaming and shouting up to 1a.m and 2.am so don't expect any sleep if your by the kids pool and bar, only good thing is food but then noticed over the days flies in restaurant on food yuk, this is a 1 star hotel, very very basic and remember to bring fans with you as it's so hot at night difficult to sleep as well as the noise, ear plugs aren't that good

Ok so where do I start will try and break this down simply, I had many issues personally but just wanted to give a view that everyone needs to consider. I wouldn’t say don’t go to this hotel but I’d say take everything into consideration. Also please bear in mind 70% of the hotel people live here so it’s very much taken over by them. They haven’t been an issue for me but it changes the atmosphere. Negative things to consider- General- * No balls, floats or anything aloud in pool. * No ball games outside of the pool - not kid friendly at all. * Day time activities - there isn’t any. * Evening entertainment- 1 hour max and it’s crap baring the magic show. * Kids club/entertainment - None. * Security walk around with their hand on Batten is very intimidating around 4 every single day. * No life guard on duty. * Food looks naff can’t say I’ve eaten it so can’t comment too much. * Feels very much like a prison actually looks like one also. * WiFi is not free anywhere. * Staff are very rude and unhelpful baring one lady at reception. Room- * We had a deluxe room for a family of four booked with love holidays room is spacious but basic and clean. * Two single beds which were comfy enough. Kids had a sofa bed which was like a thin mattress not comfy. * Lots of cockroaches but I guess that’s the canaries. * Reviews regarding the noise is true bar over the road is very loud my room was luckily the other side but we had more than just my family here who were affected. * No air con you have to pay and you’ll be lucky to get a machine. * WiFi is not free. * Kitchenette in all rooms (no freezer). * Shower gel in shower. Location - Very run down, noisey and I think you have to be a certain type of person to like this place. The bars opposite are ok depending on what you like. Yumbo which is 15 mins walk away do your research, isn’t somewhere I personally like to go but others may do. important to research on YouTube as it is what is appears. Not child friendly in the slightest. Maspalomas is much nicer and very close so I’d recommend staying that end rather then playa del Inglés. Positives… drum roll… * Clean Yeah that’s about all. I’m English very normal and live on a council estate so just trying to build a picture of what type of person I am. It’s a shame because this hotel has a lot of potential a lick of paint on the outside, abit of entertainment throughout the day and night and a few pretty lights it would be much more inviting. It sticks out like a sore thumb down the street (street view it don’t look on the online images). Like I said before I wouldn’t say don’t come here if just be very mindful of the above because what I’m saying is totally legit. Would I could back here again? No Would I recommend it to a friend? Only one because he’d like the yumbo.

I'm writing this review as this hotel is underrated and gets a lot of stick from visitors Read bellow it's as honest as you can get. Location is 10 mins walk to a beach but it's down a huge set of stairs hard to get down with beach stuff with kids. There is a ramp but it's still hard. You are 30 mins walk to the best beaches. Close to a supermarket and the Irish bars which play loud music till 3am. If you are on that side of the hotel don't expect to sleep. There is a great kids pool next to another large family pool. Two other pools on the other side of the hotel which I never went to. Pools a nice and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers. Life guards walk between them both and in-between the pool bar. Food is hit and miss. Breakfasts are excellent and so are lunches with plenty of selection. Dinner was good 3 nights and poor the other 4. To much fish and rice. One night there was 90% vegetarian food. Rooms are clean and well maintained but as advertised there is no air conditioning which is a real problem especially when you have kids. You can hire a portable unit but you need 2 in a one bedroom apartment to make any difference. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable and caused many sleepless nights. The evening entertainment falls under the category so bad they are good. The Abba tribute was good. My biggest complaint was we arrived at 11pm on a Thursday missing dinner. They left a couple of sandwiches, 2 apples and 2 waters in the fridge for us. The sandwiches were really bad and we couldn't eat then. The following Thursday when we left the coach wasn't picking us up until 8pm but when we bought our luggage down at 10am they cut our wrist bands of meaning we had to pay for 2 meals for 4 people and drinks all day. So we only got 6 days all inclusive. Iv been going all inclusive for 30 years and this is the first time this has ever happened. So in short if you have read this review is you pay for what you get. It's clean and friendly food ok, entertainment ok and location ok.
