Occidental Las Canteras

Very good and clean hotel with amazing staff, great rooms and amazing location. The room is great, has a lot of space and a great shower. It can get difficult tho to dry your beach towels, altough we never asked the staff to do it so it our own fault. Cleaning service does its job well, the gym is has everything you beed for a quick workout and the breakfast is super tasty. I would recommed the hotel to everybody that visits gran canaria, the location is just too good.

This is an ideal place to stay if you plan to be out every day. It is clean and pleasant to stay at, rooms are fine just all on a basic level. Rooftop bar is a lovely tough and the swimming pool up there is basically a little hot tub but it’s cute. Friendly staff and a comfortable stay in a convenient location for everything you may need.

This was my second stay at this Barceló hotel, and overall I had another pleasant experience. The staff are one of the hotel's biggest strengths—friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I also really enjoyed the rooftop bar, where the bartender made excellent cocktails and always served them with a smile. The room was comfortable, and the pillows and duvet made for a great night's sleep. However, I missed small touches like slippers and body lotion, which I usually expect from the Barceló chain. Breakfast was good, although I would have liked a fresh juice machine and better communication about the freshly prepared breakfast options. All in all, it's a good hotel with a great location and a few areas for improvement.

Fabulous location, really comfy beds and good breakfast choices, but above all the staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. Fran on reception was fantastic when we needed assistance during our stay - Muchos gracias, Señor!

Lovely hotel, lovely room and just behind a 1.5mile beach which you can see from the roof top bar. Service of the staff was excellent.
